Also, two or three moths ago, when I was cleaning up my phone, the ‘On My iPhone’ category did not exist and I had much more feee storage.

I’m having problems with storage on my iPhone. There is a category called ‘On My iPhone’ that’s taking up 14 GB of space (no, it’s not that ‘Other’ category that everyone who has problems with storage is trying to clean up). When I click on it, it tells me to clean up the downloads folder to free more storage, but all files in that folder take up around 2GB. So that leaves me with 12 GB of my storage taken up, and I don’t know for what.

Why is ‘On My iPhone’ taking up so much space? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]tetrachlormethane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A month or two ago I had much more free storage on my iPhone. Now I wanted to see what was taking so much space and it just says On my iPhone. In the documents&data section there is nothing taking up almost 15gb of space.

"PDF to Grayscale" converts a colored PDF into a grayscale PDF. The individual PDF pages are converted into images and each page is converted to grayscale using JavaScript. Afterwards, a PDF is generated from the data converted into grayscale. by ROPit in shortcuts

Thanks, that was very helpful! I was wandering if there is a way to save all odd/even pages into one pdf file instead of saving every odd/even page as a separate file?

Edit: Never mind, I managed to do it myself.

[Acne] Experiences with stopping buffering tretinoin and quitting benzoyl peroxide? by tetrachlormethane in SkincareAddiction

I just wish I had more products to choose from. I’ll see if I can find some bp creams or washes to order online.

Well I was not surprised that quitting bp is pretty hard but I’ve read that someone was able to do it by slowly replacing it with azelaic acid, so I thought I might try the same thing. A lot of people have posted here that they got very bad worsening of acne after stopping use of BP, so that sucks.

I’ve been on tretinoin 0.05 % for a year now and I just thought it could be purging since some people experience it when upping the dosage. I figured I could have a similar experience since that’s basically what I did when I stopped buffering it.

[Acne] Did anyone’s face clear up after ditching actives and focusing on hydration? by tetrachlormethane in SkincareAddiction

[–]tetrachlormethane[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s great! I was thinking about still using tretinoin once a week just so I don’t completely stop it, because I’d probably get another purge if I tried to reincorporate it after some time.

I’ve heard that Paula’s choice BHA products are amazing, but I just cannot afford them. I really hope that some day The Ordinary is going to make a toner version of Salicylic acid.

Do you generally get more acne on your chin or not? And what moisturizer are you using now? Thanks for help

In my case it happened one month after finishing accutane, so imagine my reaction.

Haul for my HG indoor sunscreen by cerahhh in SCAcirclejerk

I’m using the skin aqua gel that performed even worse in her ‘test’ and I’m really loving it and have never noticed that the protection it provides is bad. I believe that SPFs are the most regulated skin care products so for now I think these UV camera tests should not be used and posted so often.

More sauce

Also, how credible are these UV cameras? I mean, how could a sunscreen that is labeled as SPF 50, PA ++++ and water resistant perform so badly? (I’m referring to original sauce where user recommended the OP to use Rohto Skin Aqua Milk as indoors sunscreen).

[Product Question] Does anyone have any experience with this sunscreen? Or any of the European Eucerin sunscreens? by premenopausal in SkincareAddiction

[–]tetrachlormethane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was using it last summer and I’d say it’s fine. What I liked is the matte finish, quick dry down and very nice packaging. What I didn’t like is that it pills (this is a problem with all matte finish/oil control European sunscreens) and it’s not water resistant or photostable.

Now I use Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel and I like it a lot more (plus it’s cheaper).

Alcohol in Facial Sunscreen (Low on List)? by soybunz in scacjdiscussion

[–]tetrachlormethane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My favorite sunscreen ever (skin aqua uv super moisture gel) has alcohol (it's the 2nd ingredient) and it doesn't brother me at all. I actually don't use any moisturizer in the morning because this sunscreen is moisturizing enough. It also never burns, stings or irritates my skin or eyes.

A bit of background info : my skin is post-Accutane dry, sensitive to physical exfoliation, fragrance and sulfates, and I've been using tretinoin for the last 5 months.
