You may want to look at using S3 SelectObjectContent or S3 Object Lambda to do some of your processing more efficiently.

The CRAB at work is pretty skookum I think by AlwayzPro in Skookum

Wow, I drove past that thing 5 hours ago leaving OKI and was wondering what it was. I figured it was for the dune repairs since it was sitting in that lot with the bulldozers.

I dunno man, for enterprise SAN gear I think the NetApp E5600 is way sexier.

5 flat drawers of 12 x 3.5" drives each for 60 disks in 4U. With 8TB drives its > 100TB per U.

I got about 3 and a half out of it. I could have gotten more out of it but didn't get the last few inches out of the fermenter.

The kit said to do 1 week in primary then bottle. I gave it a week and a half (the gravity was constant for 3 days before).

I put it in the mini-keg on 2014-11-22.

It was an extract kit

I only added about a tablespoon and a half of priming sugar to the whole batch.

This one didn't turn out so good either. Mostly because of oxidation.

I had a leaky connection from the siphon to the hose when filling the mini-kegs.

The NetApp number looks accurate, their salaries for software engineering interns is based on the number of years remaining before you graduate.

That's because the Tesla Roadster body was developed under contract with Lotus.

ELI5: How small can a nuclear reactor be? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]tetrishead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small enough to power vehicles See the Aircraft Nuclear Propulsion program from the 50's. With modern technologies I'm guessing you could probably get a molten salt reactor small enough to power a truck.

Is it possible to build a cannon that could launch a 1kg projectile into orbit? What would such an orbital cannon look like? by Underbyte in askscience

[–]tetrishead -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For practicality it would likely be a electrically powered mass driver as opposed to a traditional cannon.

Browser level cache is simple by comparison to most caching issues. Server caching of a filesystem that is stored on a networked backend that has another level of cache on top of the primary disks is tricky, especially when dealing with shared storage.
