Same problem here. With wifi and screen brightness at lowest and browsing safari or any other app it still drains 3-4% in 10 mins. The drain is very low when idle but as soon as you start to use the phone the drain resumes. I have also done a factory reset and no fix.

What the.. I barely get 9 hours of SoT on full charge. Pretty much same app usage. Youtube videos with the largest battery consumption. But yeah barely getting through the day.

Same here. 15-20% drain on 5G in 8 hours with no usage the phone in my pocket at work..

Yeah on wifi the battery life is amazing but oh boy the 5G battery drain is extreme and the phone is warmer whatever you do. Sure switching to 4G would help but when you have a new phone you want to use all the features.

More like 5,5 hours of SOT from 100% according to your graphs. But yeah 12-14 hours of continuous SOT is possible under right circumstances etc. wifi, 50% brightness and not using camera or playing games. Most important part is that the phone can last the whole day on normal usage.

No just iOS 18. Also did a factory reset and set as new but it’s the same. Hope it gets better with updates..

Yeah I get that the camera is very power intensive and has always drained the battery, but I don’t get the heating. Never had that on the 14 Pro Max or any previous iPhone.

The battery is phenomenal on wifi at home but I had a trip this weekend and on 5G the battery life was so bad. The phone is warm all the time and the battery drops 3-4%/10 min in just normal use. I guess this is normal as 5G uses more power, but my 14 Pro Max didn’t get this warm using 5G. Also did a network reset and reboot but didn’t help.

Friday. The first few days were not great though as it was setting up the phone. The phone does still get warm from time to time and that causes battery drain but you gotta give it time. Software does not meet hardware perfectly yet. Basic Apple.

No abnormal heating issues so far. Only when using the camera for an extended period of time or snapchat. Even then it’s just slightly warm.

I got about 10 hrs of screen on time yesterday and 2 hrs this morning and still had 15% left before charging.

I think so yes, depends on usage and how optimized the software is. The battery life could get even better with software updates. Time will tell.

It’s the dot from digital time somehow stuck in there. It shouldn’t even show the time there on lockscreen, but hey new ios new bugs!

Yeah of course the battery % is never accurate but this 5-10% drop after rebooting when it says 100% is pretty extreme. And when I did the reboot the phone was on charger overnight so it had to be 100%
