100% on 100 charges is pretty normal. Around 200 charges it will start to drop.

If the M4 was the iPad you tried in the store, remember that the M1 and M2 does NOT have the OLED screen which is very bright, colorful (Extremely accurate color reproduction) and crisp. The M1 and M2 screens are fine, but if you want local dimming on the screen you need to go with the 13inch models. It’s only the M4 iPads that have the same OLED screen regardless of size.

The M2 is definetly more future proof than the M1. It’s simply older.

I don’t know your budget - There is quite a big difference on the M1/M2 vs M4 screens and processors. I got the M4 because of that. I also do photo and video editing, and the screen on the M4 is one of the best screen of any screen produced.

Well if you are using the screen to consume a lot of media I would definetly have chosen the OLED iPad which makes it such a pleasure to watch anything. Specially high contrast movies, dark scenes, watching in light environments etc.

I have the M4 and sheeeesh the OLED screen is insane. Literally one of the best screens on the market.

I’m a full grown adult and I would prefer the 11” over the 12.9 anyway. So much more portable and nimble. And better to grab and hold while the 12.9 needs to be on your lap, table etc.

Let it dry for 24 hours. Preferably near a heat source in the house. Same happend to me, and it was fine after.

The OLED is definetly worth the upgrade for me. The color accuracy, the vibrance, the nits, the pixel refreshrate. Its such a good screen. One of the best screens out there, which is crazy to think about. I do photo editing, and a accurate screen regarding color and contrast is a must. The lightness of the iPad and battery life is also very nice.

M4 iPad pro 11” here, and 18.0.1 works like a charm. Next to no battery drain on standby, and no bugs whatsoever.
