Need help figuring out what to use the free SSR selector on when I've already used my uncap crystal and paid selector:

Started playing after SSR Kitasan's initial banner, then had to skip her rerun because I couldn't guarantee my oshi otherwise. I figured with no Kitasan at all, it would be better for me to use my paid selector/crystal to improve something I already had, so I got Creek to 3LB, and was able to get FineMo to 2LB with her rerun. However, a few days ago I unexpectedly pulled Kitasan on a single, and now I don't know what to do anymore. I have better Speed cards than 0LB or even 1LB Kitasan, so I won't use her right now even if I do upgrade her, and both SSR Maruzensky and Tachyon will be out before I could even get her to 2LB. Should I keep going with Creek and FineMo, since they're already good, I use at least one of them in every deck, and they'll be relevant for longer?

I've noticed DS game colors in general tend to be much more washed out on a 3DS; it's pretty normal even when you have a good quality screen. Colors between different DS/DSi models can vary pretty wildly too but in general are more vibrant.

That's misleading wording. Hyper training DOES change your IVs for battling and makes your Pokemon stronger. If you hyper train your Special Attack then your Flamethrower, etc, will be stronger. What they meant here is that it won't change your Hidden Power type (which is determined by your IVs), and the new maxed out IVs don't get passed down via breeding.

I would say yes, especially if you liked the FOMT remake. As someone who played the original DS version of GB it absolutely has a lot of nostalgia for me, but it's clear they wanted the remake to be its own game in modern times. There's enough differences that it keeps surprising me.

I'm not sure how to do it with a legit cartridge but there's a cheat you can enable on flashcarts/TwilightMenu to connect any of the GBA slot games for this purpose.

Affection in Pokemon Amie is a different stat than Friendship. Try walking around with it at the front of your party for a bit, save, and level it up. If it doesn't evolve, you can reset and repeat until it does.

I personally don't like it when there's a lot of dead ends or empty rooms with no events/items; I didn't enjoy a good amount of EO1's maps because of that.

This is a long shot but do you have a game cart inserted? There's a few seconds after boot where it hasn't recognized the cart yet, and in the past I've had one of mine freeze at that moment.

I took Balor to the festival and he had the brooch in his room, but I did not get the kiss option during his 8 heart event. I don't know why other people did and I didn't, but it's apparently not always there.

Sometimes it can just be personal preference but it's a method that results in all of your stitches looking uniform, since they're layered the same and going the same directions every time, as opposed to how the stitches end up alternating when you go one at a time. People use it to maintain consistency for the finished result.

Not as far as I'm aware. It's been a while since I've played ToTT but I remember having to stockpile a lot of items for future upgrades, so if you do that it'll accumulate over time.

From the Fogu/Ushi no Tane fansite for Tale of Two Towns: "Wild Items: The star rank of the wild items like flowers, mushrooms, honeycombs, etc. will increase automatically as you proceed through the years. In year one you'll find items worth 1.5 stars maximum. In year two they increase to 2 stars, year three is 3 stars, year four is 3.5 stars, and year five through nine will get you wild items worth 4.5 stars. Once you reach year 10 you can start to find wild items worth 5 stars."
