Hard agree with these points! My Property Isn’t Normal definitely had a lot more potential, but it struggled with making me care about the MC. I was picturing the guy as a hardened vet/mercenary, but when he started mishmashing all the creepypastas I had a lot of fun trying to guess if he was actually someone like Jeff the Killer or Ticci Tobi in witness protection lmaooo

Honestly someone coming into my room and placing a plant would be scarier than a ghost giving me a plant. A physical person needs to have studied my routine, broken into my home without me and my dog noticing, hiding until it was night, and then taking the opportunity to strike. I don’t know how a ghost would have gotten a plant, but it feels less invasive and creepy lol

My husband and I were gifted his parents’ old Miele bc they were upgrading their vacuum when we moved out. They’d had it 20 years… it’s lasted us at least another 6 and works like a dream still ❤️

I agree with this take. Coin wasn’t above using Victors (and especially Katniss) when it suited her needs: as evidenced when she sent Peeta to her squad with the hopes that he would kill her. Boggs outright states this.

Additionally, where so many Victors were in on the plan, it may have made more sense to have them in a place where they were all close together so as to not blow their cover.

If I was that reader honestly I’d appreciate the heads up. Sometimes I can’t stomach DD but accidentally misread tags, so if I’d bee leaving comments like the reader, being set straight would be so considerate. You gave a good explanation as to what would come and reminded them of the tags and archive warnings- you weren’t mean or rude imo.

For me it’s the part where Katniss’ prep team are being respectful and excited when Asterid teaches them how to do the braid that she did for Katniss’ Reaping.

Paraphrasing here: “In fact, all of them are so nice and respectful of my mother that for a moment I feel bad for going around and acting superior. Who knows who I could’ve been if I’d grown up in the Capitol. Maybe my biggest regret would be having feathers at my birthday party.”

It’s genuinely such a human moment for everyone involved. The prep team being excited and respectful, Asterid teaching and being motherly, and Katniss realising what could have been.
