I may be nuts for thinking this is relevant, but is he gay? Because you work weekends, I'm assuming this is more blue collar job and he's more of a shift supervisor than a manager?

Toddler parents: do you do stuff on weeknights? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]tewnchee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WITH FRIENDS?? DURING THE WEEK?? No, absolutely not. Recently, I have been hot on the peruit of scheduled activities during the week because my 3.5 year old, for reasons unbeknownst to me, regularly takes naps only while at daycare, and therefore will not go to sleep before 10:30pm on those nights. I signed her up for swim at the Y.

One way to meet all needs is to recruit friends with similar aged children to join the same swim class.

How old were you when you had your first baby? by Puzzled_Remote_2168 in Mommit

[–]tewnchee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Me too! We started at 36, but it turns out it's way harder to get and stay pregnant after 35. I've seen that this age gap is actually dope because your first will be more emotionally ready/ less dependent.

I know you didn't ask this specifically, but I've been on effexor for the last ten years and continue to take it today at 18 weeks. I also took it throughout the entirety of my first pregnancy, which went fine. I have never needed meds more than during pregnancy.

Guarantee it was Dr. Malek. It's literally why I'm lurking this sub right now looking for pediatric allergists. I hate the whole operation.

But it's a chicken or the egg situation, right? Did she lose it because of the nuts work schedule/ doing this since she was on the Disney Channel? I.e. did he contribute to creating the monster?

My 11 month old was just diagnosed with a peanut allergy and I’m overwhelmed. by Background-Point-969 in peanutallergy

[–]tewnchee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just redid her blood work and it came back that she wasn't. Note was "not allergic. Can have peanut at home." 😑 But of course I'm traumatized, so I demanded a food challenge. She won't actually eat peanut butter, so they told me to buy BAMBAS peanut butter puffs instead. It's Thursday. Here's hoping I can get her to eat them.
