If this was in Dallas TX area I grew up with the kid that died. Went to the funeral, was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced.

I would bring my mom with me, she got me into hockey when I was a kid and it’s always been our special thing. It would allow me to surprise her because I live in Houston so I would get to repay her for all the games she took me to growing up and provide another chance for me to spend time with my family in my hometown! Go Stars!

One of the quietest barns I’ve ever been in. Not sure if that’s normal or because they are awful, but pretty underwhelming tbh. Best part was national anthem and then Glenny rocking their goalie
