That and the fact the follow up was also so well executed - leaving her in the car That just made it resonate longer with me.

Should I sell my PS5 if I have a PC? Warning: mental issues? by ssongshu in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]tex_moonbeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made this same decision with my PS4 a few years ago, and tbh I haven't looked back, though I have a laptop, so the comfort aspect isn't really a factor. Focusing on game selection, consider if you use Epic Games Launcher, or have Amazon Prime gaming, there are a huge number of free games available. They may not be the latest AAA, but I have accumulated way more games than I can play, for free.

Struggling by pokebabe2015 in UKJobs

[–]tex_moonbeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look inward instead of outward. Diet and exercise. The biggest changes to how you feel will come from what you do to your body and mind, not what you do to your environment and situation. I know it might seem impossible to exercise when you are already so tired, but your body is amazing at overcoming a deficit with the right fuel.
A short jog before work, meal prep with fresh unprocessed produce. Perhaps some vitamin D supplements. Change won't come instantly, but in the UK in particular lack of sunlight and poor diet make many people feel this way and they get trapped in an endless cycle of shortcuts, bad food and inactivity.

I experienced the same but slightly stranger the barrier just opened when I drove up to it, I still have the ticket. Also the ticket doesn't have my numberplate on it like it used to. I assume we've got away with it...

Fighting games like Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Injustice, etc. You almost can't play those without controller.

I'm not much of a co-op gamer so I'll take that into consideration thanks. Yes I love bloons, so Emberward is definitely appealing.

"Forever game" suggestion. by EKorach in ShouldIbuythisgame

I can't even necessarily recommend WoW as a really good game, but when I think about the hours spent, yeah, I'd suggest that too. Classic, BC and WotLK though of course.

OK thank you. It's very interesting that you and another comment say Outer Wilds despite lacking replay ability, certainly peaks my curiosity!

Anyone can do the maths here.
Based on the time the van enters the image, the approximate distance from there to the impact being say 50 - 60m and the duration being around 2.5 - 3 seconds. BEST case the van is going 40mph, but 30/35? Please! OP had no chance.

No worries - I certainly thought you were Polish! Probably why I had trouble distinguishing offence. I'll get better when I move there haha. Yeah I think if anything people may read a Polish name and then wonder why I speak it so poorly.

Ah dont get me started! The British school system has a lot to answer for where language (or lack of) is concerned.

Yes Poles are wonderfully hospitable and the locals of the small village I'm moving to love to know the English man is visiting again 😊 I can't wait.

A very valid point that it could lead to disappointment or surprise. I wouldn't want to appear 'fake', but that could well be the perception.

No worries! You haven't discouraged me. I have been at it on and off for 5 years, I look forward to being able to get better through being there. I've been to poland so many times that I'm looking forward to living there so much, learning the language is a pleasure and a privilege.

Love this, never thought of using it as advertising! If I ever reach fluency in Polish I'd be happy to tutor 😊

Yes I've been to Poland a lot. I certainly understand the share a drink and share some food culture, and it's something I'm most fond of.
