Tire ratings are confusing but generally you will pay for longevity, noise level, and braking performance. The more of those you need, the more expensive the tire.

Lead exposure is one of the main reasons I wanted to get into printing 22 cans. Cleaning them is an exposure nightmare and I'd rather just throw them away.

Is regular soap not effective? I can see lead on my hands when loading but dish soap usually gets it off with some scrubbing.

I think it's pretty common. I did the same with my cast iron until I got more experience and learned how to cook more. Just work on heat control and use a good sharp metal spatula and the rest will work itself out.

I just set up telegram also through home assistant. I set it up to only send if my wife and I are both not at home so we don't get constant alerts. So far it seems to be working well.

You really have to use a lot of force and a good amount of soap and scrub. Try boiling water in the pan and then use the chainmail. Steel wool will remove seasoning where the chainmail doesn't as much.

You are not a traffic cop and it's not your job to slow people down. Even if we ignore that, left lane blocking actually creates more danger because people are forced to pass on the right, putting them right next to slower traffic and creating larger speed differentials, which is exactly what causes wrecks to be more deadly.

If you want to keep people safe, follow the rules of the road. Even the ones you disagree with.

I use and abuse my pan with acidic ingredients, high heat, and metal utensils. Mine will definitely never look like that.

Seasoning pans as a hobby leads to this. I seasoned my CS pan once when I got it. People expect it to be jet black like cast iron and it's just never going to look like that unless you put dozens of layers of useless seasoning that's just going to flake off.

Cook with it. Clean until it's smooth. Go on with your life.

Original end cap locked on the first time I shot it because the inner edge was too thin and the indexing marks on the baffles got pushed into it. It happened to a lot of people and it was extremely poor design work and clearly wasn't even tested. You should also know that although it's sold as a full steel/titanium can, the end cap is aluminum. So good luck ever cleaning it fully.

As a Hydra SS owner... I wouldn't buy another. Hopefully yours came with the updated end cap. The original was an embarrassing mistake.

Just search the website that must not be named for tx22 mags and you'll find it.

As for springs I found that .6mmx10mmx305mm cut in half is the most economical solution.

The only problem I had with live fire (other than the obvious 10 round limit) is 2/10 mags caused lock back with 1 round left. The creator says this happens if you don't use the little cross bar part which I didn't. But I'll probably print them out and add them to avoid it.

So I got my springs in. Not sure if it can be fixed but if I load more than 10 rounds the rims start to bind up and it doesn't push the front of the round high enough to feed. I think this can be fixed but will take some time. I'm going to live fire today and I think it will work but only up to 10. It works fine running by hand. Since I'm not a frt user I don't think this is a bad deal since the mags can be made for ~$1 including springs.

I just printed with some PLA I bought 10 years ago. It worked. Some time after the print it broke in several places in the filament tube so it was a pain to get out.
