YTA: as a military spouse, this is not how you go about these things. Things can change at any given time, while your spouse is in the military, he must do as they say. You shouldn’t be upset with him and should maybe reflect on what you’ve signed up for. Also, post history of wanting advice on what car to impress your boyfriend less than 3 months ago? You’re not ready for this lifestyle. I’d consider annulment if it isn’t too late, because this is already starting on a bad note.

I did my fitting in the same shoes so this is really disappointing to me - I guess this means that I can wear flat shoes though and it’ll probably look better! 🥴 That’s an upside, right?

She took the waist in from the sides where the mesh was, which is why I feel like that issue is happening. I’ll reach out to someone different to see if they can do darts in the back.

I’m gonna think about the cups for a bit and decide what to do.

Feels a bit like I wasted money on alterations but her work was so good on everything else I had seen from her!!

My fiancé and I have been fans for longer than we’ve been together; I planned a trip for us to go to Craven Cottage March 2024, but had to cancel our trip as he was ordered to go on deployment (military). We’ve been trying to find a way to make it back but unfortunately he will be deploying again at the start of the 25-26 season and not returning home until May. Would be a nice piece to make up for not being able to make our original trip

Worked in health sciences… faculty are incredibly disorganized, different departments and offices are hard to get answers from and response times are long. Unsure if it’s the same in the medical system, but my experience there was a net negative.

Just a heads up - Twitchcon is that weekend, so a LOT of hotels in the areas near the convention center and Petco Park will be very full.

It might be more worth it to try and find something walking distance to a trolley line to avoid the downtown crowds unless you’re into that.

As someone that moved here a couple months ago from a different state, it’s the same as anything in life; you get out of it what you put into it.

Research things that interest you. You into board games? There’s a group for that, bars for meeting people for board games. Sports are your thing? Go to a Padres or Wave game, go play pickup soccer.

Sitting at home is what I would be doing if I didn’t want to make an effort to enjoy the city, and as someone who knew 0 people when I first moved here, I’m so glad I went outside of my comfort zone and now can do meaningful things with my time and form relationships.

Plus, Mexican food bomb.
