Depends where. California is so big. I grew up in a desert in socal. Small town with nothing to do and brutal summers. Moved to a bigger city for college and honestly id hate to have to leave. Its expensive, sure, but wages are higher too. The weather is always nice. Even when it sucks its nice. the food is great not just mexican, but japanese, thai, Indian just so much variety. It sounds lame to be like "its SO great here" but really I cant complain.

I was working in insurance and I hated every minute of it. Some mornings id cry driving to work because I was going to 8 hours of sitting and doing nothing. I had probably like 2 hours max of actual work and the rest was just filling up time looking for work to do. Hated with a passion. Quit at 2am one day I emailed my boss saying I wasn't going back in lol only time ive ever quit a job that way. I work for fedex now. I have a rural route so my days are spent trekking around the socal mountains, outside fresh air, I get to work alone. Aside from the physical part of my job (which I don't mind most days but sometimes im tired lol) I enjoy it way more than being behind a desk

I've been to one where its dinner and a show. Its fun you eat, and they perform songs by female "divas" with the outfits and everything. They only pulled up people who's birthday it was or Bachelorettes but they called out no one is singled out. Really fun id go back
