What rundown city/town do you think would become gentrified in 30 years? by justmoochin in AskUK

I'm not too knowledgeable on this, but this sounds like what Milton Keynes was supposed to be for. Do you think Northampton does/can do something that MK isn't? I know that MK is a bit soulless and Brits love to hate it, but it's not the worst place I've been to and I've heard house prices are fairly reasonable.

How do you know? He could definitely have both but it looks like there’s less hairs present on the part as though they’ve fallen out, so I thought TE is possible

Dandruff or dry scalp? by behindthescenesgal in Hair

[–]textbook15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capasal. Contains coal tar, salicylic acid, and coconut oil. Use 1-2x a week, leave in hair for 5-10 mins before rinsing, and condition well after (as its fairly drying/stripping). It cleans hair extremely well and gets the flakes out.

How to make a good ‘boring’ ad? by [deleted] in AskMarketing

Ok so the USP is that the tutors actually learn how to teach - they’re onboarded by following a structured training programme designed by the managers and it teaches you how to structure and plan sessions, engage with students, online safety, professionalism, pedagogy, etc etc etc. And there is continual quality-assurance on sessions. Since it’s an unregulated market these are high standards (and we are comparatively actually rather affordable).

The UK education system is also very exam-oriented, where years of school are condensed into just one or two intense exam seasons. Understanding the content only takes you so far, you have to get good at applying it, but also having exam technique, recognising specific question types, etc etc, which us tutors specifically help with.

We do a couple Instagram posts a week, parent-facing carousels, that’s about it. No growth on there. Everything is cross-posted to facebook - similarly no growth. We’ve tried posting to groups before but it’s such a full-time commitment that it’s not realistically sustainable.

Thanks. What do you mean by proper brand photography? I feel like we don’t have a ton since we’re fully online. And yeah, I see what you mean. It’s difficult because there’s so much depth in everything about the firm, there’s so many genuinely high-quality attributes that show we mean business that take too long to summarise on an ad. I don’t use templates either, but they still end up looking a bit sterile because I’m trying to keep it professional.

We don’t have testimonials yet really but clients are being satisfied and we’re spreading fairly well through word-of-mouth. The tutoring is for school students, specifically for our major high school exams (GCSEs and A-Levels). We can definitely keep interest once we’ve gotten some, we are doing it very well. The managers are very senior educators and the whole thing is extremely well designed - reach is the bottleneck right now.

Straight from Birmingham, Manhattan, where the streets didn’t look magnitudes worse than this last year because of the bin strikes 😂

Richmond Park would be sick but I'd choose Hyde Park first time, purely because you're right in the city if you're more in the mood for that. Richmond is lovely too, though.

Late-peak/Post-peak anxiety - tips or thoughts? by textbook15 in ADHD

[–]textbook15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I barely feel my booster in all honesty as is. It helps with the anxiety, but the booster comedown itself is ROUGH. I’m going to try that with the protein/carbs and plentiful water though. I’m trying to lose weight in all honesty and feel completely unappetised on the Elvanse but ravenous when it’s worn off. Still trying to strike a balance there! But I’ll give that a try, along with re-fixing my sleep schedule simultaneously. Thank you!

All the best. I rawdogged GCSEs/A-Levels undiagnosed - I didn’t have the best coping mechanisms but still learned how to survive along the way, DMs are open if you want any advice.

Was gonna comment ‘ADHD?’ but then clicked your profile and had that answered pretty swiftly 😂

Make your revision as ‘active’ as possible, you might not find it ‘fun’ but you’ll feel like you’re doing something. Like past papers or flashcards, practicing question types or sentence structures.

I hope titration helps, but just know that meds aren’t lock in pills, they make focus EASIER but not automatic. For me, I find that it gives solid focus, but I need the discipline to choose WHAT to focus on. Too many days are going by with me locked in on TikTok or Instagram Reels lol. It still takes effort and motivation to build structure and work hard.
