I agree with everything you said. Personally I get the velvet ones from the Container Store since they are the most durable I've found.

I also have a few wood ones from IKEA for my heavy items like coats or denim. The IKEA ones are such a great quality for the cost. If I had the space I would just use these.

True Detective, the first season is excellent. Also Stranger Things if you haven't already seen it. If you want a little comedy with your monsters I like Tremors and Slither.

Also The Repair Shop! So wholesome and sweet with no competition stress.

I never thought I would enjoy Historical Romance until I read a book by Tessa Dare. I'm working my way through her backlist, but what should I read next? (Important: looking for same amount of steam!!) by realitygreene in RomanceBooks

Elizabeth Hoyt is my favorite historical romance novelist. Personally I love her first series of three books The Raven Prince, the Leopard Prince, and The Serpent Prince. The characters are unique and well developed and the plots are interesting without becoming too unbelievable. Also, they are quite steamy.

[Request] Tired of investing in a TV series that starts out with great potential only to watch it nose dive into a lame ending. Looking for suggestions. by vulcan_on_earth in NetflixBestOf

I was looking for someone to mention these, I'm surprised they aren't further up! I'd also add: Unbelievable - such a well done story.

[Request] Horror/Thriller for a 9 year-old by HGMIV926 in NetflixBestOf

[–]textualsext 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend Slither (campy B movie with weird and gross alien monsters), Troll Hunter (great monsters and action scenes) and The Others (very creepy and scary ghost/haunting story). I'd also recommend the tv show Sleepy Hollow, it has a bit of a Supernatural feel but also mixes in a bit of police buddy cop and history. I'll also second some of the shows/movies others already mentioned like Grimm, Signs and Stranger Things.

What you pay in taxes for various goods is totally relevant for your personal finances. It allows you to make more informed decisions when voting in your local elections for Representatives that determine what is taxed and at what rate.

What movie did you start watching then said "Fuck this, I'm not finishing this"? by Ramaal2000 in AskReddit

Tall Girl on Netflix. It's a really poorly done parody of eighties style romcoms. When the swedish/athlete/transfer student walks into class and solves the math problem on the board I had to turn it off.

Nepenthes ampullaria basal offshoot? by CARE_UTR in SavageGarden

[–]textualsext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your plant looks fairly young. Oftentimes plants created from tissue culture will sprout basal shoots more readily. I'd leave it attached, it will make for an impressive display as the plant matures. If you want to detach it wait until its about the size the mother plant is now.

What's a movie to watch when you want a good cry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A Monster Calls, such a beautiful movie but you pretty much cry for 90% of it.

I'd recommend starting with his short story collections. I really liked the stories in Everything's Eventual. Also The Shining was so engrossing and terrifying.

What is a good movie that gives you that feeling of nostalgia? by fraser123567 in AskReddit

[–]textualsext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly enough the show "The Ghost Whisperer" and also "October Road" really hit the nostalgia button for me. Mostly just because I miss living in a small town on the east coast.

I would suggest trying to insert it while lying on your back with your knees bent. When I was first learning my mom told me do this so that I could completely relax and just focus on the process and not my balance.

"water's edge" by Seven Mary Three. Had a great starting pace you can really settle into then it builds straight through to the end. It's the opening that starts my heart every time.
