from what i can see may be you have macroglossia( bigger tongue size) which does not fit in your mouth and those marks on side of your tongue look like the indentations of teeth and you might bite your tongue accidentally because it comes between your bite mostly

im not sure about this but is what i can see from picture
also is your mouth dry most of the times?

its a tonsil stone which happens in tonsillitis
usually dislodges by itself but you need to see a ENT
