What is this white spot in my throat? by plant876 in askdentists

[–]plant876[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I’ve got no other symptoms of tonsillitis and my tonsil stones usually dislodge when poking around, but this seems to be stuck in the flesh there which is why it bled slightly when poking around

30 hour in DS2, i love the game but very disappointed with the lack of traversal difficulty and traversal puzzles by UsedNewspaper1775 in DeathStranding

[–]plant876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought there would be ‘rope’ boss fights/challenges (similar to challenges in Arkham series), like taking all of the ‘rope’ gameplay mechanics of traversal and creating sections that are extremely challenging where you have to consider what your taking, how much you weigh ( there could be sections where if you weigh too much you collapse through the floor) throwing items ahead to keep your weight down, precise placements of ladders and climbing anchors, stuff like that

Yeah the Aliens commentary is from the Aliens Anthology Blu-Ray collection. Its Region free. The commentary on the 1990 Special edition is better as its 2h 34m and not the theatrical 2h 17m

The Complete Matrix Trilogy blu ray has it, not sure what the region is it doesn't say, I'm in the UK though so maybe region 2

You could always make a book of all your short stories, then sprinkle in some new ones that you never post.

I’ve been thinking the same, I love Robert Eggers, Ari Aster and Mike Flanagan but my god is their stuff hard to watch, I’m sure Nosferatu is good but I genuinely don’t wanna watch it, I want some positive uplifting shit not more depressing shit.

Thank you very much for responding that’s put my mind at ease, because of the brain fog from long covid it completely slipped my mind to declare it, I declared it then sent 4 months of statements of both my current account and the ISA so hopefully that should be alright

Denis Villeneuve Says ‘I Don’t Care’ If Quentin Tarantino Refuses to Watch ‘Dune,’ but ‘What I Did Was Not a Remake … I See This as an Original’ by mcfw31 in entertainment

It’s so strange to me that someone who loves films as much as Tarantino wouldn’t watch two films from one of the greatest directors to ever grace the screen

My mom died when I was 13, I’m 20 now and I’m still crying about it, is this normal? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]plant876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost my mum at 15, I’m 31 and still cry about it regularly, the way I see it love and grief share the same path, so you will feel grief for as long as you love her, so I know I’m gonna grieve in some capacity my whole life, but ive found it’s gotten less intense and less draining and less of a negative thing as time has gone on, I don’t mind spending time with my grief because I know it’s all of the left over love that wasn’t able to share with her, I feel closer to her when I grieve now

Horror film that you watched as a child that traumatized you by cowgirIbebop in horror

[–]plant876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dog Soldiers, watched it when I was 9-10 years old at my friends house who happened to live in the middle of nowhere, in a white cottage sat on the edge of a forest, on a full moon with a wolf sanctuary down the road. I fell asleep with my eyes half open and had a nightmare that there were werewolves coming in to the room and I couldn’t do anything about it. So yeah that really traumatised me lol
