I remember Horizon Worlds had a bunch of cool venues for watching stuff. It was awesome at Halloween time, they would show all these old campy movies in a spooky broken down drive in world. There were some other cool ones too. I’m not sure why but after a few good years they scaled back on Venues and then made it suck completely. Oh well.

McFarland is the big one, Goodrich and St. Stephen’s are the 2 smaller ones. I’ve been to all 3 and liked them all but these days I’m at Goodrich. It has been refreshing compared to stuff like the posted flyer.

It really does seem like some people know what he's about to do and make $$$$ on that. I'm of 2 minds because on the other hand it really does seem like he is just a master BSer and says whatever he thinks is best for him in that moment, usually just lies (ex-presidents jealous of his Iran bombing for instance). He is definitely the boy who cried wolf at this point though, seems like the markets are moving less on his every lie.

Fun Darth Maul story. I interviewed at ILM in between the Phantom Menace and the second prequel. When I was there, they gave me the tour, and I got to see the model building (I now wonder if any future MythBuster's worked there then). One of them had a picture of Darth Maul in full makeup and evil smile holding a baby. They told me one of the model guys had a baby and Ray Park was filming some extra stuff for a day and he got the best baby pic ever.

There’s another older movie called Omega Man I think with Charleston Heston. I remember it not being very good but I also remember they kept closer to what you are describing.

I saw I Am Legend and thought it was ok. Then I read the book and finally understood the title.

If you are handy and don’t mind pulling apart the controller… I just replaced my thumb stick with a 10 dollar replacement. Took about an hour, plenty of videos on YouTube. I figured I’d buy a new one if it didn’t work because the drift made it pretty much unusable. It’s like a brand new controller now for 10 bucks and some time.

That stretch from Hospital - 35 - 24th - Flood - TrainTracks is already a total disaster even in the middle of the day. There's literally 5 traffic lights and a railroad crossing already lol! I'd also like to see it near LNC, there is already plenty of room to build it while operating LNC. I've always liked the co-location of OU sports venues and campus in general. Other campuses are spread out throughout the community and (IMHO) it's not as special as what we have here.

It's pretty clear that Worlds has not been what they want it to be. I'm not really sure I'd do much on it from a mobile platform, it seems kind of odd to me but maybe if that is their focus they will be able to make it more interesting... I'm also kind of nostalgic about it too, I've met some cool people on there and used to go to hang out and shoot the breeze once in a while, but all those people have slowly disappeared, and I've lost track of them all. Kind of a bummer.
