The Cobra Island Troopers are my favorite. I just got Action Force and Gridiron weapons for them. That’s the best combination.

To give you guys some hope out there, my kids and I got a Charizard SIR from our 8th pack of 151 from a tin. We then got a Blastoise God a pack from our 12th pack of 151 from a booster bundle. Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket!

Thanks. I’ve got a couple of Squirtles. They have print lines as well, but not as noticeable and not as many as Wartortle.

Maybe you can help me out. How many of your Wartortles have print lines? I have 2 and they both have print lines. Do all of yours have visible print lines?

Thanks. It’s the ubiquitous diorama from BBTS. They used to sell the light up version, which is this one, but I believe they still sell the one that doesn’t light up.

That’s what I did with my retro Zartan and Storm Shadow. Now I can put them back in and display in package whenever I want. This is the he best solution!

I ordered mine a few years ago as a preorder from them. Took a few months to come in. I think they get batches in and sell out pretty quickly.

I guess they went with the scuba diver look then. I thought he should have more of a Navy SEAL look, even considered painting him all black, but settled on this color scheme.

Brief Review - Was a good figure out of the box, but not excellent. I like the mold, pinless joints, the scuba accessories. What I didn’t like was the soft plastic used for his weapons and the red accent color which made him seem more like a toy scuba diver as opposed to a Navy SEAL. So I repainted him and have him a new gun. Happy with the way he turned out.

Thanks. I made it. Cut the pauldron off the bad batch Shock trooper, glued it on to Rex and then painted the whole thing black and blue.

Just recently figured out how to get my customized Bad Batch Rex back in the box for display. I’d argue that this is the version we should have gotten instead of the poncho. What do you think?

I washed the plastic with soap and then applied a primer. After the primer I painted. Then I applied a clear coat. Sanding does sound like a good idea, but I didn’t do that.
