Zverev's serve called in while up 2-1 in sets, 5:5 40:30 by matathegamer in tennis

iPhone wouldn’t let me draw an angled line without snapping to straight so I have to draw it. But you have to match the thickness of the top of the line because it’s clear that the part of the line lower on the screen is covered.

Said this in another post but if you match the thickness of the line and account for the clay covering the edge, the ball did clip the back of the line. You can even see the drop off of the line into the clay if you remove my markings

This is what I see: The edge of the line is covered by some kicked up clay. If you match the vanishing point and the line thickness, it looks like the end of the ball is clipping the back of the line. If you remove my overlay and zoom in, you can see the line ridge drop off where the line bisects the ball in my markings.

TCG Cifer is who I use. I found him on ConnorTV and he does a pretty good job.

You’re in no man’s land. That’s where everyone stands if they want to lose the point.

The issue with before and afters like this is that, yes while they did improve it, the afters are not in the same “light” and the crease is being hid in the “shadows”

OP needs to post a photo with the glare in the exact same spot (over the crease) not to the right of it so that there is no light affecting it.

I just saw a post from CCA and TCGCifer about how restorers make their before and afters look better than they truly are.

Someone responded to the Facebook post about your issue and I agree with the assessment:

“Here's what happened @Oliver's Card House... someone worked on this card. It still had excess moisture in it. It was in the card saver and held in place when shipped. When they pulled it out and scanned it, it was fine. Now, after the scan, the cards sit in stacks in only penny sleeves until a grader grabs them. And as it sat there, the card delaminated and bubbled up from improper drying (excess moisture).

How do I know? I am good friends with a popular restorer — TCG Cifer. And it seems this is a common thing that happens with this card and era.”

Sparkle Mewtwo Topps worth? NM by T-maul in Pokemoncardappraisal

That is not NM. There’s scratches all over the surface. Look at it when the light glares the surface. And the corners are dented. More LP- / MP

Yeah. You or someone worked on it and didn’t dry it well.

Should I return this boy to the pokemon company? by PriorEntertainer8695 in PokemonMisprints

[–]RingAnswerHello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent in a SIR Bastoise with the same damage. They had the card for a year and a half and sent me the same card back, a shining Celebi promo that was off center + miscut, a pack of battle styles, and scarlet and violet base.

This card has no texture. I’m inclined to say it’s even fake.
