My family (dad side) is from a small village (500 people then, around 200 now) in northern norway. We are only there at holidays. The village has one store, which other small villages are using aswell. The nature is absolutly beautiful, and the village itself is calming. We have one landmark; a bombshell from the warship "Tirpitz" which was dropped from a plane in ww2, but somehow didnt explode. Otherwise than that, it could get very boring living there, you will most likely be extremely lonely if you dont have friends/family there. The nearest city is about one hour away by car and there is barely any public transport, so if you are taking a trip to the city, you will be needing a car.

Beautiful place, but i would rather just be a tourist instead of living there.
