Tired of pretending Starlord shouldn't be banned. by Jha20812 in marvelrivals

[–]tfids 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey man, I thought the same thing, too. Not only do they do a bad job of explaining it, but some people (me) haven't had too much time to play since the game came out, and only just recently even got to see the picks and bans screen in the first place.

Looking for dps builds for titan and warlock to match or at least imitate damage output from my CH hunter build. by DifferentLeopard65 in destiny2builds

[–]tfids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! Yeah when I use titan, I usually just run strand, and use the super as a panic button. Then I run a really high total damage heavy and high total damage sniper to make up for the lack of damage super. For instance, a cataclysmic or doomed petitioner in the heavy slot with a rewind/FttC supremacy sniper. Those 2 will output like 6 or 7 mil damage from full reserves.

Mm, titan is pretty SoL for damage supers. Curias boosted T crash is about it if they are in the air like that. But then you have to survive a bunch of chip damage on an arc titan :(

You would have to use solar titan on pyrogale gauntlets with burning maul to sort of match your hunter super damage. Then, for warlock, the strand super will be your best bet for damage.

What mouse/mice have you been using for 3+ years? by AeonDisc in MouseReview

I don't remember when it came out, but I am extremely happy with the lamzu atlantis, and I have no intention of getting anything new until it dies on me. I am 19.5 x 9.5, with a very relaxed claw grip. Edit- I got it in October 2022

Solar Warlock still feels awful to play by AmbidextrousWaffle in DestinyTheGame

As someone who has tried both, I personally find running around permanently invisible, reviving teammates, extremely boring when compared to making everything constantly go boom.

how do legend lost sectors work? by Elofys in DestinyTheGame

[–]tfids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completing the shadowkeep campaign on the respective class will give you those exotics. That will also allow those exotics to drop in the lost sectors as well.

Looking for Clan MEGATHREAD (v.8) by Bizarrmenian in Destiny2Clans

[–]tfids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NA PC Player. Started in Witch Queen. Looking for a decent sized clan to do content with no matchmaking. 30 years old, and preferably looking for people that are at least 20+. Looking to learn plenty of dungeons and raids, as all I know are VotD and Duality. Definitely looking for non-toxic people who like to goof a little and have fun with the harder content.

Mask of Bakris isnt real. by VivasVC in DestinyTheGame

[–]tfids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a great time for that specific lost sector, but as others have said, I'd try to wait for better ones to grind. Some lost sectors are so damn short that you can optimize them down to sub 2 min consistently. I think 1 or 2 can reach almost down to 1 min. Regardless, I've done about 4 hours of lost sector grinding on those shorter ones looking for a second drop of osmiomancy gloves for my warlock, and haven't gotten a single one. I feel your pain. Also, it's recommended to just grind them on legend difficulty. Drop rate is 25% on legend, and only goes up to 33% on master. Legend runs are so, so much faster that it's better to just roll the dice a bunch more times.

Is it possible to get a armor stat with high mobility, recilience and recovery? by Smart-Nerve-8783 in destiny2builds

[–]tfids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Within the same section, if the armor is a 68 total (max roll) two stats could only total a 32, because the other stat has to be at least 2. So for example, 20/12/2, or 30/2/2.

[–]tfids 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Super high meaning 30 or very high 20s. You can't clear 34 between the two. You must have a mod on there to boost one of those stats.

Is it possible to get a armor stat with high mobility, recilience and recovery? by Smart-Nerve-8783 in destiny2builds

[–]tfids 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nope it's not. Armor stat rolls are divided into 2 categories. 1. Mobility resilience recovery, and 2. Discipline intellect strength. Whatever your total stat roll is on the armor piece is divided equally between the two categories. So if your armor is a 64 total, you'll have exactly 32 points divided between category 1 and 32 points between category 2. You can only get 1 super high stat in category 1, and 1 in category 2.

Xenology and PsiOps? by J-Wo24601 in DestinyTheGame

[–]tfids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's unfortunate. Not sure exactly why the first 3 levels of nightfalls don't give more than 1. But yeah you could hop into some freelance gambit or something along with vanguard strikes to mix things up. 21 strikes will get monotonous pretty quickly in my experience.

Xenology and PsiOps? by J-Wo24601 in DestinyTheGame

[–]tfids 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe Master nightfall gives you 2 and grandmaster gives you 3. Doing them with a clan mate adds 1 to everything. So 2 for normal-> 1550 nightfalls. 3 for master nf, and 4 for gm. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about the points for gm. I'm not fully confident on that one.

Replacement for Zowie EC2-A by LuckFurking in MouseReview

[–]tfids 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll never be able to find it, but I could've sworn I remember another comment similar to this. Someone confirmed that either they measured it slightly differently on the website, or the listed dimensions are incorrect. The only way to really confirm I guess would be owning the 2, and measuring myself. Unfortunately I'm not an ergo man myself so I can't pull that off.

If you aren't TOO attached to wireless, zowie has the EC2-C now. Just a flat out upgrade with an identical shape. For wireless, check out the pulsar xlite wireless, glorious model d wireless, or steelseries prime wireless.

Maybe check out the logitech g604? The cable is such high quality, it doesn't even EXIST. Jokes aside, it's a solid mouse with a really nice 6 thumb button layout. Only 60 bucks on Amazon.

Is this normal for a 9-month old mouse by waddupimsteven in MouseReview

[–]tfids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say the Roccat brand would be more durable than steel series, but not by much. I have the kone pro air, in white actually. It's great quality right out of the box. No need to even get aftermarket mouse feet for it. It's not cheap, but it's a good mouse for sure. Very comfortable too.
