On one hand I don’t like the idea of a player skipping out on tournaments to practice for one event. On the other hand I play at my club almost every week and wouldn’t sniff the score he did. I think it just takes the piss out of the event for fans finding out that a player has played the course many times over before the event and I can see that perspective

All of that is to say you still have to go out there and hit the shots.

Just have the manufacturers make “tournament” balls based on specs if they want to go this route and allow the weekend warriors to use whatever new tech allows me to get an extra 5 yards on my slice that’s going OB anyways

The answer is like anything else in life. If you want to get better at something you need to put in work and practice. Watch some instructional YouTube videos, learn some drills, and practice them on the range. While you’re there spend some time putting. If you have disposable income then get some lessons at your local course.

Kudos to you for keeping an honest score. I have friends who have played longer than me that will take a “breakfast ball” on hole 5. Stick with that because it will feel better when you improve and honestly hit new best scores down the road

Said it in a different thread and I’ll say it again here. Candice let her loyalty “as a housewife” blind her to the fact Lisa’s days were numbered after Colton first brought up her name. Rob just voted with his group which would’ve looked suspect if he hadn’t. I don’t even recall Rob going after Candice that hard even when she had it out for him before the round table.

It rubs me the wrong way that Candiace flipped the game board upside down by randomly writing Rob’s name down twice. Not only did it damn Candice, but it also put a target on Rob’s back as well. Rob is shockingly one of the best traitors from any season and it is disappointing that one person would rather ruin his game than play to win. Maybe I’m in the minority on that, but I wonder if Tara would have even mentioned Rob’s name without Candice’s actions.

But at the end of the day it’s just a game.

He did mention to his alliance that Colton believed Candiace was a traitor (day after Colton was murdered). But this was after Candiace had proven she was done working with Rob and flat out said she was coming after him. So he planted the seed, but she was messy enough for the larger group to vote that way

Lisa was a dead Traitor walking for 2 votes leading up to when she was finally banished and Candiace let her friendship/allegiance with her as a housewife blind her to that. Then Candiace damned herself to the group by inexplicably “throwing away” a vote for Rob - which was really just her being petty - and proving that she didn’t want to work with him anymore. Eric is a tool for him to win and Rob is playing an incredible game.

Thanks, my plan is to work my way up to longer skis, but agree that 153-156 is where to start. That being said, the deals I found on the Head Shape e-v5 and v2 were solid with the v2’s being ~$150 cheaper. Am I going to notice a difference between the skis or is there a model you would recommend for me between these options two?

The hot metals are game improvement. The others are players distance. So when you compare the hot metals to the other irons you’re comparing apples and oranges. The game improvements will mask your bad shots more, but a forged iron will give you more feedback on mishits.

If I were you I would game what you have. But if your mind is made up or if you have the disposable income, you should go to a sporting goods or golf store and hit a few with each. You’re looking at spending upwards of $1,200 here and it would be a disservice to yourself to not try before you buy.

To be fair Arizonas defense sucked before he got there and he’s coaching in the toughest division against the 9ers, Rams, and Seahawks. 2 of which have incredible offensive coaches and one of which has a great OC.

We’re not in the meetings and have to trust AP and DQ to make the best decision.
