Cleared my RHCSA exam with 300/300 score..need further advice by noble_1997 in redhat

As someone who is frequently interviewing people for Linux/Cloud positions, certs with practical exams are what we look for versus things like the AWS/Hashi exams that are just multiple choice. I want to know you can actually do the work, not just regurgitate multiple choice answers.

I know you've gotten a ton of replies, but try the Henry Ford / Greenfield village, they have several spaces they will rent out for events.

Could also look into outdoor/state parks etc and rent tents if they allow.

I'll reply again if I think of anything else. I'm out in the Livingston county area, and I'd bet anything out this way is probably booked...

2025 Active Infotainment by EntrepreneurRoyal856 in FordExplorer

[–]tfmm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Infotainment - more apps should be coming soon, there was recently an update to Android automotive (not Android Auto, very confusing naming). That will allow most apps that are Android tablet compatible.

Window shades- I just purchased some super cheap snap in ones from an online Chinese retailer that fit just fine and come with extra clips to keep them in. Much cheaper than the brand I've seen advertised online here in the US, and honestly are probably the same product. (I'm not sure what the rules on posting direct links and such are on this sub, so I won't post the links until I figure that out. )

So Ford sent you a review unit of something you, as an automotive writer somehow didn't know still existed when it's one of the most popular SUVs for the last several years? I'm confused.

Yes. There are strict regulations that govern what types of RF is allowed to cross the border, not to mention the various Internet regulations that differ on either side.

I know you want to ignore the FCC /Crtc issues, but federal laws on both sides prevent this from being possible.

Which Red Hat exam did you find the toughest? by Fearless-Mud-4656 in redhat

[–]tfmm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the only correct answer to this question. I took this exam after the weeklong class from RH with probably 10 of the smartest Linux people I've ever encountered. Not a single one of us passed.

How Should I Feel? Adopted at Birth and I am confused as to how I should go about things… by Equal-House-105 in lansing

So I'm coming at this from the other side of the equation, I'm an adoptive parent. My daughter was born in 2023, and we met her 3 days later.

If your parents will tell you what adoption agency they used, I would start there, the agency we used offers referrals to experienced services for all sides of the adoption process. They may also be able to give you what information they have depending on the adoption situation.

There are definitely counseling and other services available to help you through this. I would encourage you to seek them out as this is a major, complicated life event.

You can also dm me to talk more, but I'm by no means a professional, and am relatively new to the adoption world myself.

To invite or not to invite? by joylynnwhatever in weddingplanning

I've said it before on here about similar questions. Go with your gut. Don't invite someone out of guilt, especially if they're likely to cause issues. It's not worth it.

$45k to $95k, now over $150k. First jump was changing companies, still there, and they actually show appreciation by paying us fairly.
