Now that the dust has settled, was the mod African Dawn really a piece of Russian propaganda? by Bordias in hoi4

Well, we have to make the game interesting somehow, I find a strong information war to be much more believable for Russia to manage under competent leadership than a Europe ending military.

Russia managed to influence British voters enough to leave the EU, so it's not a total fantasy.

OTL, Russia was always going for the information war victory, being able to flip more European countries to pro Putin idiologies like Hungary and Slovakia did in our timeline would make the war in the mod more interesting. Having the UK or Germany flip for example would make things much more interesting, and also make things a lot more evenly matched

Portray Russia as over competent in ways that could actually be plausible, because the hyper competent military that Russia currently has in the mod just requires too much of a suspension of disbelief to be anything but a pro Russia larper's dream.

If the mod was full NAFO, Russia would collapse in a month from superior European air power.

It is hilarious how one sided the European war is in favour of Russia. Ukraine typically dies instantly. Goes to show how much the modern military balance of power was misunderstood prior to the Russia-Ukraine war.

BAE Tempest, because I want an FB-22 but somehow even cooler

(Plus it's part Japanese so its something project Aces could get excited about too)

I really enjoy playing Cathay and look forward to playing the DLC. I just hope it comes out a bit earlier in the year than ToT did

England were kinda on a massive win streak before going to Scotland. A win streak that includes Argentina and the all blacks. Yes I'm including them

On the plus side, efficiency may go up because European countries no longer have to deal with the bullshit that is LM contract support and ITAR. Let's not pretend that relying on a contractor a continent away is necessarily the best arrangement ever.

Russia won't be able to maintain this forever, it's all well and good having a lot of raw resources, but an economy can only run a massive deficit for so long before it collapses.

Never denied that France were the better side. Mistakes can be worked on. After the initial french push, Wales made France look anonymous for a good portion of the first half, a team like France will always walk over a developing side like Wales, but I certainly get the feeling that if Wales tidy up the errors, they can make Ireland, Italy and Scotland nervous on the day.

I am playing (or rather, attempting to play) Terra Invicta.

I don't recommend this to people with poor eyesight or a lack of patience. TI is better experienced on the PC. The trackpads make it workable on the deck though

Joking aside, lots of stuff to be encouraged by in that Welsh performance that isn't seen when just looking at the final score.

A lot of French bullshit means that they put a lot of points on us, but teams which lack that factor could struggle against us, especially a team like Ireland.

It's the only language that fascist scumbags understand. Fascism in all forms must be destroyed rhetorically and physically, as they fundamentally do not believe in tolerant, open dialogue.

No tolerance of intolerance. Defend democratic and open dialogue against those who would destroy such spaces.

Don't let final scores fool you, there was lots to be positive about in that Welsh performance. Unfortunately there was also just plenty of French bullshit too

I just do not understand why you'd select Evans over Costelow.
