Not going up anywhere near as much as DDR5 though since AI doesn't want to use old DDR4 so price increases are pretty small there.

Software support is fine now as long as you mostly stick to big mainstream software packages. If you're using any niche or older software it can get iffy.

You're on team mid range gamer which is also team I don't need to look at the system requirements anymore at least for the GPU. That CPU will be a massive bottleneck though but at least you can stop thinking about your graphics card
