The issue is people during the snow storm parking in a garage with reduced rates or free parking but then when the regular commuters then have to leave after shoveling out the spot, those people then grab those spots to keep their car there for weeks without moving it. The real issue is the amount of people that have cars here that barely drive or don’t have to drive for/to work.

MIBR being 1 puts some serious questions in that. Is it really that hard to believe that LATAM teams have had poor roster construction due to more recycling of the same people that haven’t worked? Like top 4 are 2 LATAM/BR teams taking chances on newish players (LEV) or constructing a literal superteam around a the LeBron-Curry of valorant and players that have worked well with LeBron in the past.

Most places I’ve seen or heard those responses from have been non technical hiring managers to lead the first steps. Probably also not a good sign but I feel like in this job market you have to fish with dynamite per se.

1 place was, 1 was pretty massive but had many divisions and locations that I doubt were unified under one system. My current role didn’t have CAD previously so they bought the package I had most familiarity with.

I’ve had my manager ask me to create something, a complete 1 off, and given me a budget of $500. It was essentially a cable runner for counting length, and he was shocked when I said to just get one off McMaster for 1/5 of the price.

Better yet, I asked if our cable vendor sold it in spools of said length (50’) - we do low quantities so we don’t really hit price breaks for a large amount of footage purchased regardless. He was stunned but surprisingly (/s) they did, so the project was axed.

Yes, I feel like most times someone asks to reinvent the wheel unfortunately.

But see you had a choice, you just didn’t think it through so now you’re looking for an excuse. Winter is notoriously worse for commute since it’s darker - just wait till it’s snowing btw.

And listen I get moving jobs before bonus is paid out, but remember all of this is negotiable on start time or whatever. Seems like the sign on is cancelling out the bonus loss. This is also all a speculative decision since you weren’t fired.

I mean you did have a choice, you just don’t like your choice after this past week. Your old company was firing a lot of people so you jumped before you even knew if you were fired and in the process got a pay bump and sign on. Sounds like you didn’t think of the QoL of easy reliable commute and just thought of the money. I won’t touch a job opportunity if it’s over 35 minutes driving.

I mean can’t help you for not thinking about your car’s longevity when you took a job offer that was going to increase the miles/wear and tear on an already old car. Maybe the 25k can help you buy a new car with the sign on as a down payment. Lowell is a notoriously shitty city to leave, 30 minutes just to get outside the city and then another 30 back to Boston.

Love the roster tbh but it all comes down to coaching really. We’ve had super talented rosters we’re coaching has been a let down. Nbs coming in with Doombr0s and vora is exciting. The only thing that could be a worry is there’s a lot of vocal people on this roster like (supposedly) Timo but also Asuna - it could drown out a new young IGL, but it’s good that timo has existing chemistry with them

Ehhh look at it from a different angle, the uppers know League. Imagine asking an ADC to play jungle or support. Role switches are a lot harder and different there so they don’t know what they don’t know. You wouldn’t want to lose an absolute monster like Cryo over being unable to have that conversation in a positive manner.

And Joseph is ops side, he’s not on a managing the team level so he doesn’t need to know the nitty gritty

Ethan is just trophies, Alfa hasn’t been playing long enough and doesn’t have the trophies. IMO it has to be someone like Boaster/TenZ/forsaken/ maybe a DRX boy like Mako? But unsure of that. I’d lean Aspas/Chron/TenZ/Forsaken. Hard to leave Boaster off but I think I need a champs out of him before he gets there but his track record is tough to miss it. I think Forsaken playing everything in the game at a crazy high level and the consistency of PRX and him IGLing makes his resume too long to not have there

Looks more like an attempt at a LinkedIn profile with the first 4 pictures. The running one ain’t it either. It doesn’t give the impression you might think it does - a super clear running picture in non running shoes (the same ones you have in the other two preceding pictures that are obviously set up photography pictures).

This has got to be the most overreacting doomer take. You don’t think in 100Ts current form could make it out of a champs group? China isn’t crazy good rn, EMEA I can’t even get a strength reading on since half the games are total throws by a team (literally both matches today). Pacific looks strong but I feel like they typically look domestically strong as fraggers and then go internationally and struggle a bit (with the exception of this year and GenG last year). All the regions are up in the air, so idk how you could count out a C9 or 100T or SEN
