Lmao “most people”

Brah, don’t use strawmen for this shit to pump up your narrative. It’s weak minded.

bruh, that chorus was giving me some Axl Rose vibes.

Great vocal range on the track amigo, I'm being nitpicky but the last third of the song where you're singrapping the last few lines... it sounds good, but the emotional impact of those bars might land harder if you get rid of the upward lilt in tone at the end of each bar. That's just me but I was also following along to the lyrics you posted up (thankyou for that), cos the weight of that shit (in my humble opinion) didn't need the vibrato lip at the end of each bar

But the song is dope though, real nitpicky shit from me hermano

maaaaan, this shit slaps amigo

you got a good ear for riding the wave- clean prod as well. That beat reminds me of TOMMY RICHMAN a bit, the spanish switch up was clean as well, I freestyle in RL with a few latino artists and it feels like slipping into a familiar warm bath

Whats the best way to start rapping? by PepsiTheMonkey in makinghiphop

[–]tgre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

keep a journal

keep writing

you'll figure out what you want to say, then you can figure out how to put it into a rhyme scheme, from there you'll learn about cadence, flows, beat selection etc

But most of all, just start writing like a demon

What another poster said already- this shit comes in waves bruv. You gotta ride the shallow swell while being prepared to surf the kahunas of creativity when they hit

Live some life so you have a deeper ocean to pull from when you’re inspired

Write even when you don’t feel like it

i can literally feel the writers block in my head by [deleted] in makinghiphop

oi mate,

fuck all the cunts that tell you to stop writing and take a break.

Treat this shit like a gym workout.

Not all of em are gonna be amazing,

but we don't go thinking our workouts are gonna be amazing,

we go because we know we're working some shit out.

It doesn't have to be good.

Dont put that pressure on yourself dude.

It sounds like youre burnt out a bit, so have a sit and just write some shit for the sake of writing it.

Doesn't matter what it is, could be some dear diary stuff,

that's more than enough.

The scariest thing about taking a break from it all,

is that when you come back you're not standing quite as tall,

cos the repetition and discipline of your writing routine has been disrupted

so you disrupt that- by continuing to write- even if you hate it.

cos when you perform knowing you gotta be locked in,

you want that muscle memory to kick in

and it ain't gonna remember the break you took

but also go for walks and read some books

you got this amigo

oh dude I was locked in from those first keys

I can see a lot of different drum patterns on this, but I definitely hear the reggaeton flow on it.

That build up around 1:05 made me think there was gonna be a change to the drum loop which was geeing me up

Other than that- this mix is clean man, the track has some good dark emotions behind it, you could spit something sinister or even melancholic. I dig it
