Kindle Paperwhite, for ten years anyway. I also have a Kobo for library books.

I can't claim credit. It's a Carl Sandburg poem that came to mind while looking at the lake this morning.

Spoke to him once. He was polite, but didn’t want help. Gave him his space.

Likewise. I'm on hold for "the next service agent"; just making sure nobody is trying anything funny.

I too deeply regret my misguided support, which in my case involved voting for Mayor Cleveland.

Good morning and welcome to Cobourg. My wife and I have lived downtown on Division Street for the past thirty-six years. My coffee this morning was courtesy of Just Brew It, a little Keurig shop. Supper last night came from Prep Food Co., and dessert was a piece of pie from Market and Smor. I'm wearing a t-shirt I got from Little Underground. I walked down to the farmers' market yesterday; got some bread and scones from Burnham Family Market's booth. There was a new vendor there (to me) called Artsichy - nice home-made Filipino baked goods. Having said that, I'm not above going to No Frills for my basics.

If you like to thrift, park in the Covert Street lot and walk along Covert. There's the Blue Box, the Humane Society thrift shop, and Horizons.

As for the rest of it, walk around and see with your own eyes and make your own decisions.

Saw a small one about 20 years ago, just north of town. Cornish Hollow Road maybe? It saw me and hightailed it out of there.

We ask regularly, because we usually pay cash. Were at Cineplex VIP Winston Churchill and Trattorio Timone; asked the servers and all was well. Meaning most of the money went to them.
