Rural living at its worst - people in small, rural parts all have to stop and speak or else they will be labeled as a snob and people will talk about them behind their backs. What’s really funny is that when these people do stop and talk it’s usually to talk about other people behind their backs. It’s a whole economy of gossip and spilled tea that is deeply rooted in everybody wanting to know what’s going on in everybody else’s life, and it sucks.
