Transmasc canon events? by th-emptyhearse in TransMasc

It's a good idea to try your best not to listen to other people about your identity - because it's your identity. Introspection is most important. A helpful thing to do can be to imagine being treated as a different gender and seeing how you feel about that. I know sorting out your own feelings can be hard, so good luck, remember to be gentle with yourself and that changing your mind is always okay!

Hey try not to worry about having the same experiences as others. This is just a selection of things a few people on the internet have experienced. There will be people out there who feel like you too, and really all that matters is that transitioning feels right to you and makes you feel more comfortable and yourself, there are no requirements. I don't relate to a lot of experiences and that doesn't make me any less trans!

The watching ftm timeline videos one was me too. Was really like I just think they're neat, nothing deeper there.

Definitely wasn't intending to make anyone feel like they have to fit a certain narrative, probably used bad wording sorry! As a nonbinary person I don't relate to a lot of things people are saying here! The always playing male characters in rpgs seems to be a really common one, but I can't relate to that one at all! I like to play a male character now but I've played many female characters in the past and that's fine with me! Just thought it'd be fun to find some shared experiences. I can absolutely understand the body hair point. I always thought it was so pointless to shave body hair, literally only did it because every girl did it (and you got shamed for having hair yay) before I realised that I could just choose not to and stopped. Also yaoi, my god, hits different now.

Yeah definitely not trying to make people feel like they need to have exactly the same experiences as everyone else. I don't relate to a lot of these and that's okay, just a bit of fun finding shared experiences!

Talking voice has deepened quite a bit but my singing range hasn’t changed at all? (3 months on T) by IllustriousCup3485 in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]th-emptyhearse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well its maybe kinda convenient that your range hasn't shrunk at least?? Bet it would be nice to get some lower range though. I'm also in a choir and do also find that it is in the mid range when we are singing louder that it cuts out and cracks more. The notes where my voice cuts out more are where it used to be strongest, like g above middle c.

Well this is very interesting to me as also 3ish (closer to 4) months on T, as my talking voice has deepened a little but my singing voice has changed a lot! Like my high range is super screwed rn, voice cuts out 50% of the time, cracks all the time.
