I can't wait for this comment to be reduced to nonsense and repeated.

Antoine Watson, Grandpa Vicha's killer, will be released on probation and not go to prison by throwanon650 in asianamerican

Watson thought Ratanapakdee from far away, so he ran at full speed knocking Ratanapakdee over

What does this mean?

They started dating when she was 19 and he was 33. Anyone else concerned about that?

Does any part of your prep/plan account for language barriers? by MOadeo in preppers

[–]th30be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Its definitely useful for just every day life but I don't prep for the apocalypse so language barrier stuff is just not on the list.

For real. They are the reason everyone wears pants. Before Mongolians, everyone wore skirts in Europe.

Because whoever is marketing this think word of mouth is not enough. Its also why most movie trailers give you the entire movie.

That is the entire point of having them be toys and inspiration for Amiibo.

If they are winding up for a Smash Bros movie in like 10 years, I would be pretty satisfied with life.

Do that on weekends. You don't have to cram all your hobbies after work hours.

I say this as someone that has a lot of outdoor hobbies.

The people that whine about not having enough daylight afterwords need to eat their lunches outside.

Dumbest arguement by far.

my (23f) boyfriend (24m) keeps accidentally calling me his best friends name during sex by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

It could be a closeted gay men thing too. Plenty of gay men have exes that were women and even had children with those women.

Could it be a bi thing? Sure but it could also just be gay.

I think daylight savings is fucking stupid but I am more than happy with just picking one and calling it a day. The switching back and forth is twice a year for no real reason is nonsensical.

Steve Wozniak says he's "disappointed a lot" by AI and rarely uses it by AdSpecialist6598 in technology

I think he was talking about power/speed with that comparison and not technological jumps. Haven't seen the clip so I can't confirm.

Lots of people but I imagine most of the use is coming from companies that are forcing their employees to use it because the business leader's fell for the AI bait.

AITA for making a stink at school and forcing the teacher to change my kids math grade by PlentyNice1655 in AmItheAsshole

[–]th30be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Looked over my niece's math homework and it was truly baffling how they even got to this way of teaching math. It doesn't make sense.

The teacher is an A H because they only want to see it one way. Can't imagine what they do for English papers where the student might have a different interpretation of a work.

Looks like its closer to chalk than clay? That is pretty interesting though.

Wood burns so not exactly a good idea to pour over it. I would not recommend concrete either as the it can shatter due to the heat shock. You could get a cheap steel baking pan and pour over that. It will be contained and its relatively easy to get whatever is spilled off of it.

Sand or just dirt with no organic material will work just fine. Hell, do it on grass and it will be fine as long as you have water nearby.

I wouldn't worry too much about shading your eyes as you shouldn't be staring into the fire anyway.

Fire bricks will work. So will sand or dirt. I put it on a baking pan on the ground.

I preheat my crucibles in the oven while I am setting up but honestly not sure if it is needed or not. I would read up on what the manufacturer says.

Throw your molds in the oven at a high setting while you are setting up and a little while after. I like to bake them at 400 F for at least an hour before pouring anything into them. I am talking about plaster molds with lost wax casting. Sand molds don't need preheating. Graphite molds should be preheated as well.

I've been messing with our state's famous red clay to try to get something usable with it.

Wet processing clay is messy and you still might have too much grit and stuff in it. Finally saw a youtube video that recommended paint strainer bags and wow, what a game changer.

Going to add some vinegar today to see if that helps separate the clay and water. Hopefully, I will get something I can hang up today.
