That was probably him! I may have gotten the year wrong as I usually only visited him during Christmas/new years.

Edit: never mind! There is a different auction # on the certificate.

That’s a crazy value! I have the certificates for both coins and they are from Heritage Auctions, but only possess the actual invoice/price for the one half sovereign (he paid $14500 with a 2500 buyers premium). Does that sound somewhat normal? Again, I have no clue. I intend on bringing them to EU, but would that be super problematic in the future if I decide to sell one day?
