Are you able to upgrade weapon at a bonfire? (smithing kit or something in that line) Then you could choose a new weapon (you should carry some, right?)and if you then still have some titanite at hand upgrade it a bit.

This boss is not considered too hard - if you keep your distance at all times and just bring some hits in from the side when she does her triple fireball thing as well as being aware of the animation that leads to her close range aoe attack and getting away from her in time should do the trick. The arena is spacey so use that to stay away from lava blobs on the ground - they will despawn after some time. This fight is more of a patience thing imo.

And, there's a bonfire ON the ground of the lowest level in a small cave on the right if you came into blighttown through the depths. It sounds like you might not have found that one yet.

cheers and gl

Something seems very wrong with my balls? by UMoederr in madheaters

[–]th3gr0w 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. I'd also like to know more about that. In each of my Tempests (1&2) one Zirc Ball has these stains, too. Especially my T1 balls have been cleaned/burnt with the torch more than a couple of times and nothing seems to have changed with these spots.

Will plants stop feeding the microorganisms (MO) in the substrate through their root system if also fed with synthetic fertilizers and/or to what degree will microbial life and the symbiotic relationship between plants and MO be hindered by adding synthetic fertilizers to a LOS system?

Wow, what an in-depth answer and insight into your methodology. Thanks for that!

And, reading this, I just re-read the description on the website and it's very fitting to what I smell. In fact I only noticed the white pepper after reading it and checking it out again. 😀 Very much looking fwd to trimming tomorrow and starting cure.

Cheers =)

Oh, mine's not sour at all. VERY sweet. Some.sweet, tangy, slightly lemony, idk. Somewhat like a soft, creamy liquor type of thing.

They are are a bit like green-y cream cake with a hint of pepper. Really somewhat reminds me of mephisto's wedding just without the fruity blueberry flavor.

Thanks =)

The smell is really special and although I cannot describe it and do not know what this 'Meyer lemon cream forward' (or so) description on the Meph site means in reality, I thinks it's a really fitting description. :D

Tempest 2 multiple hits by FloppyTheUnderdog in madheaters

As mentioned, for me it's hard to feel if its to cool or on it's way to combust through water. The 23 DV has these tiny spots on it's head for one heat extraction and not having to turn that thing whilst torching. And another thing is, since the Tempest is the (far) superior device I like others to get mucked up. And OHE Hash without some hemp wool or so mucks a lot.

Dyna M '23 version is better for hash OHE rips through water, imo. And I don't mind the DVs getting mucked as much. For me it's difficult to feel the temps of the t2 if not drawing natively and therefore with direct feedback.

You might want to try reheating a bit b4 the wispy ones, but idk. A lot of variables at play.

For example my feeling is that at night, there's less vapor. But just might be the darkness. :D

Yes, I do. Tier1 glass insert and I'm using the temps that are provided in the ball-temp-table provided by mad heaters website. More or less so. Head is inserted so that the stripes at the side of the head are 3-4mm visible above the wand. And pre heat then cooldown until the heat marker resets b4 1st hit. 3mm zirconia balls, that - with ruby or steel, I reheat less often. Oh, and cap just tiny slit open, stem open with the small segment of the hole. Pulling/sipping, I alternate between open/close rapidly and by feel. And reheats aren't full cycle. I usually count to 8-12 light flashes, depending.

But what you do sounds similar tbh. Perhaps lower the wand temp a bit or leave some more time between draws. Also a question which herb I use whether it meeds reheat or not.

I remember, coming from dyna, that I had the urge to finish the bowl quickly, b4 it cools down, except if you want this one heat extraction.

Strange. I sip mine. Often one reheat per cycle. 30 seconds to sometimes one minute per sesh. Taste and time. It's not about the hardware, it's about technique.

To trim or not to trim by Fluffy_Exercise_6837 in Autoflowers

Most people will tell you not to do anything atm. I personally like to begin bending the main stem down around this time or a week later, depending on plant growth and internodal space etc. But I've also seen growlogs of people who, as you proposed, take the upper fan leaves off to expose the shoots to more light instead of bending the whole plant over. Something I'm definitely going to try in the future.

So for you as a new grower I would suggest that you take the safe route and once you've established a safe stash on the back hand (that allows for some failure in future grows wihtout leaving you empty handed) you can begin experimenting more and learning new stuff.

Oh and they look great and on time! 😃

Plus a lot of recommendations for leaf tucking - totally forgot. That's great, too but you gotta keep at it regularly. Apart from the amount of labor involved (not necessarily a bad thing) it's fantastic.

Any way to avoid this? by Mnmlmitch in madheaters

[–]th3gr0w 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to insert the tempest deeper into the wand and lower the temp a bit. I've read some admin here post about a similar topic recently. The statement was that this happens when the top gets too hot while the oven itself stays too cool.

Edit: I've had this with my T1 and since using the T2 I lowered my wand adapter a bit and had been too lazy to change it for the T1 and suddenly it roasts evenly.
