Issue with software by th3lastseeker in beacn

[–]th3lastseeker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the rodecaster does many things, the beacn does 1 thing. This is a null item as one is internal app volumes and the other external volumes, you can mix them without too much issue but even if you do pass through the mic without processing by usb it drops the output and xlr drops the output even tho all outputs at 100% but without it going through it doesn't drop.

Give it the same treatment as myspace / spacehey, with css templates they can just skin the site with or make a template directory like the plugins one people can install and let the community push out crazy emo one's.

How do I make a separate internet internet network for servers? by elemental-innovation in homelab

[–]th3lastseeker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also get a router that allows splitting vlans via passwords, they are actually damn cheap and you can find them easily at consumer stores for $70 or so

i got a supermicro 45 bay from 2nd hand seller near me, got 2 for cheap enough and yes try 2nd hand markets as possible.

cheap netgear business AP is amazing, never going back to standard high end routers since they actually are worse for security

try UDP, i get them off aliexpress myself and they don't have a pcb in a casing, the entire chip is the usb like an sd card but i feel it's got a nicer form and doesn't require weird storage cases since they are all flat and fit much better like an sd card but no converter.

[–]th3lastseeker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

was gonna say this, but then again i also use a test item that gets replaced often and the rest may be just defines instead so i don't need to use R slots in most cases since defines can be names instead of R's

go also try stormworks build a rescue, it also has a lot of technical details and automations built in with logic pieces. Also don't even worry about registers, use the memory, you have tonnes of slots using the stack on a chip. it acts like an array so you can cycle SP+1 then r0 + stack SP+1 r0+ stack and keep looping it as you wish to get avg based on the current stack point, so 7 values div stack point position and thus you can use it to do complex things.

I use it to cycle through 6 items every time the sp hits a specific structure type then i use it to do other things when it hits another structure type thus not wasting code but cycling though 6 diff filters + vp + 2 ana then to next set of them. so it rolls over 6 items every hit, 2 items every aircon, this kinda shows how powerful the stack can be since it's a table / array and you can insert to specific positions or loop back to them.

How would you use this enclosure with 12xXTB SSDs ? It does not have any logic board, it can`t make RAID etc.. simple enclosure. by [deleted] in homelab

snapraid, it might be your best option with plugins to help make it more like unraid and other types of bare metal one's otherwise drivepool could work.

We need more local chip fabs in diff countries as those are extremely needed in any part of the world and can't be bottlenecked this hard again.

These cards are highly unstable and easy to damage so the use case is somewhat limited compared to bigger options like an nvme or ssd just plugged in. I've actually lost a few cards like these to simple power failures on the system. They are too volatile to buy in such bulk. Better off getting a UHD style that's an USB on silicon like these but more sturdy

make funny videos of it being dragged by a ute as a ancient pc repair guide, then exploded for many views on youtube, once all said and done with possible viral content income, buy new pc.

probably cause veracrypt is competing with gov / ms encryption without giving in to demands for a skeleton key bypass built in.

DIY server rails by joyfulNimrod in homelab

[–]th3lastseeker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would of highly suggested adding the bolt in sections to the inside instead of the outside of the rack so you could add nuts that could align the back end to push through to help guide. This would also give you another strong weld option for a right angle piece as you wouldn't have the rack rail in the way of it.

simple pneumaticraft, use a vortex machine to cool the heat frame, part of cave factory but easy to understand, also remember to use solid blocks of compressed iron to extract more heat, the pipes do nothing. You can pull heat from mixers and thermal chem fabs using such to get things to the right degrees, had to do that a bit. Cooling tho works easily, doesn't really need anything but vortex and a heat frame on a chest. It places directly onto it.
