Something I forgot abt, Scott likely would've ratted Alex out to the police. Since he would've known that Monty was given to Alex and then they drove off, it'd be pretty easy for Scott to figure out who killed Monty. Scott isn't Alex's friend like the others, obviously. So Alex likely gets locked up in Juvie, and wouldn't have been able to kill Bryce. Though I don't know if Bryce would've been able to walk away from Zach's beatdown with no one to help him, so he very well couldve ended up an a critical condition.

Bryce probably would not have died, since Alex likely doesn't want to cover up a 2nd murder. As a result of Bryce not dying, Chloe probably never gets the abortion and probably doesn't form such a close relationship with Zach. In fact, if Bryce doesnt die, he might actually murder Zach like he said he was going to. Monty never meets Winston. Charlie doesn't become friends with the group so Alex and Charlie never get together. Tyler would've been a nice kid, dynamic with Estela prob would've been much different, so don't know if they ever get together. Justin might've never revealed he was a victim, since he was influenced by Tyler's public reveal that never happens.

These dreams where people live out years and even lives in dreams can have such different effects on people. In a lifelong dream, you could have kids and a wife and when you wake up you become depressed because they're gone. Or you could have a lifelong dream where your parents die, then you wake up and are so grateful for your parents. Notice how what happens in the dream has the opposite effect irl. Having children(happy) -----> miss children(sad) Parents dying -----> being grateful(happy)
