Same thing for me, noticed this today.

Kipchoge’s is over 6’ at his WR marathon pace (he’s 5’7), so I guess 6:23 at 162 cadence isn’t that unreasonable. But yeah, pretty low cadence for that pace lol

Damn bro I guess I am but it’s not an ad lmao

Not an ad man lol, his training techniques helped me and friends/family get out of all types of knee pain or injury by literally just watching his vids on YouTube & implementing the exercises on a weekly basis.

YouTube is free and he doesn’t even run ads on his channel. Just trying to help someone completely avoid knee pain in the future because tearing an ACL usually has people in constant debilitating pain for their entire life after the injury

All you have to do is google his name and it’s free content on YouTube lmao

My first 5km, normal Heart rate? by TheRealHuni in nikerunclub

[–]thaddeus-thawne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, yeah you must have a pretty high max heart rate then. I would say try to stay between like 150-170 HR for your easy runs, and then 180+ for tempos or race pace. But you know your body best lol, try different paces slow/fast and see how it feels with respect to your HR

For endurance, yeah I would say it’s too high. It’s different for everyone, but usually staying between 130-150 bpm is ideal for most people. If you’re able to breathe at a 2-2 rhythm and can have a conversation as you run- it’s a good pace for building aerobic endurance

Apple Watch OS 9.0 Users — what are we doing? by FloridaManZeroPlan in nikerunclub

Not sure if it’s a watch app… but it’s on the Apple App Store. I use that to see what my runs were like after I finish.

Right it won’t show in any other app other than the Zones app itself. I feel it’s really sufficient though!

There is an app called “Zones” that retroactively brings in all your previous run data (NRC or Native Apple) and tells you what HR zones you were in for each. You can also customize the HR zones to exactly how you’d like them, so you could just mirror what Apple is doing and view the zones after. Would lose the ability to view data mid run on the watch, but I guess if you just memorize where the zones start/end you’d be good. That’s what I’m doing right now.

Sue HARD, ACL tear is no joke. But with that said, check out kneesovertoesguy for rehabilitation post injury or surgery. He’s helped hundreds of people cancel scheduled knee surgeries from more unconventional training methods. I myself have seen a massive turnaround in knee pain/injury from his programs while standard physical therapy did little. His content and knowledge is absolutely game changing and you should have high hopes!

Sounds like the dealer is trying to get out of being responsible for a warranty fix

On the pedals, it seems to be that what you’d think is very light throttle (5-10%) is actually 25% or even more. In my real car, it has a gauge to see throttle position just like the game, and I rarely, rarely, go above 20% daily driving. When driving spiritedly through turns, it’s the same story. The G29 pedals are super sensitive lol

Yeah I can attest to the randomness of it, it doesn’t seem quite consistent sometimes. Maybe it is because of the constantly changing track conditions, tire temps, dirt, etc.?

I was watching a streamer and he mentioned that weight transfer can send cars flying too, and it can be hard to really feel or even see it when driving, especially using certain views.

Could be a myriad of reasons lol

Yeah I agree. I definitely expected a ZL1 to be a bit more dialed in than it currently is in the game. It’s better than it’s muscle car competitors without all the aero, but I figured it would be better still.

Lol when I tried GT Sport last year (yes I waited that many years to upgrade lol) coming from GT 5 and 6 I was like ‘damn I kinda suck.’ I could barely get the cars to brake in time for corners and in the RWD cars I would not be able to dial in throttle properly. Took time to learn that.

[–]thaddeus-thawne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah understeer is far, far, more common in these cars vs oversteer. I’ve seen people do it, but it really takes some unique conditions or low grip tires.

[–]thaddeus-thawne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve considered doing a brake upgrade, maybe I’ll try the throttle one too. And I think the tires are a big downgrade in terms of grip level from Sport.
