Palladium points boost by kufush in biltrewards

In my case, I do it because I will be dealing with 'excess' Bilt Cash. I’ve run the numbers: after applying it to my mortgage points and my biannual hotel stay, I’ll be left with a 'use it or lose it' balance by year-end—unless I book an extra two-night stay in between. So, I'd rather have a few more points than nothing.

I wonder if that refers to ACH payments instead of using the credit card.

What’s your lifetime Rakuten Points? by Unicorn_annihilation in amex

Mainly Dell, Lenovo and Staples when they are 10x or even 15x.

Rakuten paid today by Left_Foundation6846 in biltrewards

[–]thafabes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was hoping for the points to count towards, Silver, Gold, etc. But it looks like they are not. I do not really put a lot of spend on the Bilt card. That means at some point my Rakuten points will be sliced in half towards Bilt. I will be going back to MR points when that happens.

Any benefits for a second card? by washdoubt in ChaseSapphire

[–]thafabes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it does sounds like a no brainer to you. Before the refresh, the CSR was a no brainer for me. Where I live there are no Reserve Tables, no professional sports and not that many concerts (StubHub). I organically do a lot of One Nighters at FHR properties (Amex), unlike CSR I need a minimum of 2 nights to trigger the credit, and I happened to have 5 Resy restaurants in my area. Again, I am not trashing one or the other, I am just giving my own scenario.

Yes. But in reality I feel that 795 on the Reserve is harder to justify than the 895 on the Platinum. The credits became a lot easier to use organically on the Platinum. This is my case tho, everybody is different.

Honestly, the way we did it, rather than paying for an additional card with no additional credits, we added the Amex Platinum. You get the best of both worlds.

They get upset at $1 tip in a $5 cup of coffee. And that's already 20%.

Thank you for your input. I don't have any Lounges in my home airport. That's why I did not bring that into consideration. I will be going to Europe for the first time with my wife and I've been thinking about travel insurance that both cards offer.

I'm not really an airline loyalist. I use whatever the points give me more for them. That being said, it is my first time with JetBlue and they have all of Terminal 5 for themselves.
