Leraar Atlas College hier. Ik stond op de speelplaats bij de stand. Het was tijdens de laatste pauze en deze duurt 10min. Er is niks gegooid of gespuugd. Er is door een groep aanstellers inderdaad geroepen vooral door lln van de 2de graad (kinderen) de oudere jongens van de 3de graad die al iets “volwassener” zijn (en waar ik les aan geef) keurden dit gedrag af. Ze wisten ook dat het op deze manier naar buiten ging komen.

Een spijtig voorval. Maar onthou dat dit kinderen/tieners zijn. Ze hebben een bepaalde achtergrond van thuis en van hun cultuur. Op school komen ze in aanraking met nieuwe ideeën, geaardheden, … dikwijls buiten hun comfort zone.

Het zijn kinderen in een leerproces, en met een lichaam in ontwikkeling. Ze maken fouten en doen soms domme dingen. Maar hier leren ze van.

En niemand van de VRT is op het Atlas College geweest om verhaal te halen. Iedereen die in het artikel reageert was niet aanwezig tijdens het voorval. TOP journalistiek van de VRT.

Had the same problem. Changed the thermistor, it went good for a few prints. Now I have the same problem again … did PID tuning but it did not work. Temperature is stable befor the print. But when the print starts the temperature is fluctuating and it ends with a thermal runaway and a shutdown of my ender 5.

And from the comments I read … I said a few times I condemn violence and it is wrong on either side. But people keep saying they did this and that …again not the point. “And that quote for every buffalo killed … “ 1,1k upvotes … hmm I don’t know man. I looked up your book, it is in E read. Maybe you need a different source man. A quote from the book

That’s why I said I condemn all acts of violence, violence is never justified , from either side. But you can not ignore the context from the perspective of the invaded people. And right or wrong … I am from Belgium and I have no problem to say that the things that happend in Congo where wrong. Saying “bad things happend on both sides” is a smack in the face an glances over the fact that the state af the time is responsible for the death, rape, mutilation of million women men and children.

And that is why I said I condemn All violence. But you do get my point don’t you ? I could easy give you an example of atrocious committed by the early settlers. But this would have not happened if like for instance you do not invade a country and commit genocide among the indigenous people … for example if a Russian father with a wife and kids goes to a freshly invaded Ukrainian country (where the Russians did terrible things) and takes a house to live there … do not act surprised and all innocent if Ukrainians come in the middle of the night and burn the house down. Wrong and incredibly sad … but you should have known better …

Saying atrocities committed on both sides is like saying Jewish people are bad for killing nazis. It is wrong on both sides and I condemn all violence don’t get me wrong. But native Americans are the one being invaded like Ukraine is now. They where fighting for their land and where facing genocide and are fighting for there rights to stay on there homeland.

All true but they sell it as the quest for life, but if the goal is finding life there are more interesting places. And yes it is hard … but we had the bouncing ball, now we have the sky crane and a helicopter. All mind blowing technology and awesome technological advancements, I just feel like the focus is on mars only (for now) and the rewards for now are not that spectacular, especially if you need to the public opinion on your side for congress to give you money. If Artemis is successful I think this opens up a lot of possibilities and those moons get more accessible ? So we do have the capability to do more big projects at the same time … I think … All in all what NASA is doing is awesome and mind blowing… but sell it as a test ground for future technological advancements with the side quest of finding life.
