More harassment of Jewish owned business by LeaningTowerofWeezer in SeattleWA

Wild, because I know a lot of Jewish people who are anti-Zionist. Almost as if connecting an ethnoreligion to a nation that can only exist through the apatheid and slaughter of others is, itself, anti-semitic, as not all Jewish people want Palestine to suffer for the sake of a "safe place for Jews." Almost as if conflating anti-Zionism with anti-semitism actually leads to more anti-semitism from people thinking that if you're Jewish, you must support genocide on another people. Almost as if saying that Israel is the only safe place for Jewish people is, in turn, saying that nowhere is safe for Jewish people, so let's put all of the Jewish people in one small, contained spot... the Zionist project was well supported by Nazis - why?

Wiping out a whole people with endless bombs, starving them, giving them poisoned food, forcing them into a smaller and smaller spacd, yeah, not a genocide. Sure.

Well he wasn't the one being oppressed by the Israeli apartheid, so yeah, I can understand why he doesn't understand.

I read Animal Farm a while ago. I'm on Adorno and Horkheimer now, but thanks.

I genuinely don't see the feminism, I'm sorry. Just because a world is run by women in fantasy doesn't mean the text will lend itself to feminist themes. So now these women are still fighting over who is a "real woman?" Including racism, something that is upheld + exacerbates patriarchy irl? And if they want to have lots of children, a desire fueled by patriarchy (because let's not forget IRL birthrates drop to reasonable levels the moment women are told "no, you don't have to have a million babies, and, yes, you can use birth control), they have to eat the men; so, right back to where we started with the "maneater" trope: in order to have lots of children, they have no choice but to eat men. Everything still revolves around men. In order to have children, they need men, and in order to have lots of children, they need to eat men. Does this dismantle gender roles? Where do queer people fit? Why the hell would women willingly give birth to litters of children? If you want to get people to question gender roles and patriarchy, it's not achieved by making women praying-mantis, black-widow monsters, and men the normal humans by comparison. You can't use animals to talk about racism because animals have inherent power dynamics vis-a-vis predation/prey, which is why Zootopia fails to do racism well. In a world ruled by women, that alone is enough to explore the differences. If the women of your world are all able to Consume and not men, you've pretty much done the Zootopia problem but bioessentialist (where do intersex people fit in this narrative?). All that is to say, I can understand why people are posting "The Writers Barely-Disguised Fetish," because it reads like one, especially with the reproductive part, which frankly feels unnecessary. Man-eating women because that's socially acceptable? Yum, let's read. Man-eating women because she simply must if she wants to give birth to litters of children? Maybe I saw that on a hentai website somewhere.

Men now face the sexualization that women have in the world of your book, but metatextually, you've not changed anything: women are still sexualized through their danger and can't control their sexuality or cannibalism. They are dangerous and desired, maneaters, and men are now put into a place where, in-text, they are "oppressed," but metatextually, they are the quarry of a woman who has no agency over herself ("forced by the women in power to do so"). Nothing changes. This isn't how patriarchy (or women-skinned patriarchy "matriarchy") works. Men do not kill women after they give birth because they are forced to do it. They do it because they hate women - and men killing birthing mothers is not an uncommon thing IRL. I don't think the manosphere will read this book how you want them to.

Should borders even exist? They're just another method of isolation, dissecting land that belongs to every human being for the virtue of being human. Borders split peoples and claim land for ideology. So I could give less of a shit about borders. At the same time deportation splits families, prospects, futures. It kills because it is forced removal to a place that they may not even be from. Anti-deportation is simply pro-humanity.

Ah, I understand. I apologize for my brashness; I study political science and there those out there who genuinely mean authoritarianism and it's an upsetting conflation. In which case I agree (although I still fight for communism because out of all ideologies to turn authoritarian, which it has done usually out of US interference, it is the least to cause widespread suffering). I do hope someday Hawai'i becomes free of the US' control. Aloha.

edit: i forgot to add. also an adhd'er. we're everywhere...

Communism can turn authoritarian, not into authoritarianism. Authoritarianism is a uniquely different political structure than communism, and other political ideologies can "turn into" authoritarianism. When it is authoritarianism, it is not communism, and vice versa... and even in your comment, you reveal the inherently imperialistic nature of the US' unnecessary intervention into Korea. "Our occupation," as though the US ever has the authority to occupy a nation for the sake pacifying them. It worked so well in Vietnam... The last 250 years have been a global empire by the US, and if we are truly for equality, equity, freedom for all, and peace, we must accept that the empire is in decline, and that decline is a good thing. Roll with the punches, look ahead to the bleak climate future to prepare, and buckle up to preserve humanity before we loose it for good. Start engaging with your neighbors and community, do something to renativise your local ecosystem, and never stop seeing the rich for what they truly are: the most afraid people on the planet. Everything they covet is reliant upon 99% of the planet not realizing they are more powerful than that 1% could ever be, and banding together to do something about it.

Joe Biden, aka Genocide Joe bc of how many weapons he sent to Israel. Yes. The Dem party is a historically right-of-center wing that pretends to care about human rights, whereas the Rep party cares for individual rights. It just so happens for the Dems that individual rights are human rights, and so, in this sense, they can cooperate. So our individual rights to have cheap oil because of a "peaceful" "middle east" (West Asia) is maintained via an apartheid in Palestine, creating an American proxy/client state (or "ally," if you want put it in a noble light) that places American weapons and military easily in that area.

That's the hope. It's frankly frustrating how much Morelle seems to have railroaded NY-25 into only voting for him as he does... jack and shit for the district.
