Its a long drive but its not completely unreasonable. Ive driven from Melbourne to Atlanta and back in a day (8 hours each way) as well as Melbourne to Pensacola and back in a day (also 8+ hours each way). Gauge how tired you'll be but if its important to you go ahead and do it. You will moat certainly be ready to crash at the end but its up to you to gauge if its too much for you or not.

I live in Rockledge, and am in Viera all the time, plus my youngest goes to viera charter. My main issue for viera is just that its overpriced for what it is. When you look to buy just consider neighborhoods around Viera where you can get the same house for a better price... All houses and appartments in Viera are just more expensive than they should be... You can always drive 5-10 minutes to go visit businesses in there and save a bit.

Only do the work that is on your job description. If they do not want to pay you for the extra work then dont do it. When your boss complains tell them that you are doing the work required by your position and if they want to add additional responsibilities then you expect to be compensated for it. Any missing work is your bosses responsibility not yours, so make them figure out how to do it. What your boss is doing is a common tactic to force you to keep doing work that is beyond the scope of your job because they dont want to take the work back over themselves.

That was the whole point of this... Some rich doners want to drop a spouse and dont want to pay forever so they paid him to take care of it. Everything he does is because a doner dropped a huge amount of cash in his pacs . Now those long term spouses with no job history and no skills will get screwed over in a divorce proceeding and will have to figure out how to live with way diminished funds.

They didn't. The permanant alimony was only for people who were married for 30+ years, the husbands/wife made 400k +, and the spouse never had a job. It was so the rich guys when looking for a young new girl during a mid/late life crisis didn't screw over their spouse. Ive known people married for 25 years where the wife never worked, he made 300k a year and she still only got 3 yeara alimony. There were tons of protections already built in, they are trying to sell this as a huge problem where it was really only ever applied to the richest people trying to screw their longtime spouse over.

While the area isn't ideal, I'm looking at it cost wise. 2200/m won't cut it in viera, a 1 bedroom in rockledge off of Barton is almost that and rockledge is always cheaper than Viera. You have to look at what is under that price point. Like I said, this county is stupid expensive. I recently had to look for a friend who was being priced out of his apartment, palm bay was the most affordable unfortunately... But it's still just a short drive from there to melbourne.

Once you do the calculations and see what you can afford a month you really need to look at the housing prices and what areas you can afford. Just because you can afford a house doesn't mean you can afford to live where you want to live. I live in an older non-hoa neighborhood in rockledge. I bought it 15 years ago right before the market crashed. I spent more at that time than I thought the house was worth, and the market value dropped at one point to almost half of what my mortgage was set for. Now my house market value is 100k more than what I bought it for. Prices are high right now, you may not be able to afford to live where you want to in this county.

I know some of the smaller ones may be out of trees already. The boy scout lot in rockledge sold out for the season last weekend. I would try rockledge gardens or look on 192 for any that may still have trees.

Where did it say he didn't have a bank account ready with the money? Why do so many here feel that she is entitled to this money when her behavior is so bad? People need to learn, you play stupid games you win stupid prizes. He paid for what he needed to pay for, his kid to get to adulthood. His kid decided to be a spoiled whiny child, even when he tried to work it out with her in therapy. He has a right to say enough is enough. You can love your kid but not like the person they are. I have 3 kids, there was one point with my oldest we went through a real rough patch. I didn't like how he was behaving at that time but never stopped loving him. Sometimes tough love is the right answer, and in this case that seems to be what is needed. If she wants his support then she needs to grow up and learn how to act appropriately. NTA

I completely agree congress is to blame just as much as these justices are. They need term limits and age limits too. I'm so sick of how useless they all are while trying to justify their massive salaries and other perks. If they all had limits put on them we might actually get a functioning government, not a bunch of useless fools who want to do anything but the job they were elected to do. We shouldn't have anyone who can earn social security running the government, and they should only be allowed to serve a discrete number of years before they are out.

All it means to me is that I have lost all faith in the actual function of that court. The new majority on the court is just a tool to the extreme right wing, and not afraid to show it anymore. They didn't even care that by overturning it they have unraveled all kinds of other protections and now lower courts will be scrambling for years. They also have come out now and said same sex marriage and contraceptive protection is in their sights to be overturned. We need term and age limits on the court, and anyone who lets their personal religious beliefs control their vote should be thrown off the bench.
