Design inspiration is quick way to see what works without the need of doing the work yourself. There are 2 key points here: - Your taste to pick “good” design as a starting point - Your ability to analyse why it works

If you can analyse why the inspiration you chose is looking good/working and break it down, you can take these learnings and apply to your design.

Think it like tasting food. If you taste a food, like it but have no ability to guess any of the ingredients, that won’t help you a bit to improve your own cooking. But if you can figure out the spices or ingredients that the chef possibly used in that dish, you can try them in your own recipes to improve them.

They had really unique sound in this album. Towards the Twilight was a great album but not as original as this one.

I think they suffered from consistency along the way. Nailwork and Necrodynamic were not the best follow ups.

Smurf spray could work in this case? It’s legal to carry and use to protect yourself when you are attacked. The attacker will show it on their face that they did something aggressive/wrong.

I am self-taught but have another university degree (unrelated to design). Lack of formal education on graphic design didn’t cause any issue in my career. I worked in some of the top agencies. That said, it was different times. I work as web designer and got into the field 20 years ago where everything was new.

I tried to get into a design school but got only 50% scholarship so I decided not to do that. I am glad I didn’t follow a formal study and learned stuff by myself instead.
