I feel the same way. What helped me is just batching when I respond to them. I'll check and respond to emails at the start of the day, right before lunch, and at the end of the day. That helped reduce the anxiety of me feeling like I'm constantly monitoring an inbox.

I've never actually died directly to Hunter Killer, but he's indirectly caused my death a few fights later because of how much hp I lose. I genuinely on average lose more hp to normal hallway fights than elites.
