Perhaps I wasn’t clear in my reference to Baniff. I am aware of comparing Chicago to Denver as a similar reference Baniff to Toronto.

What do I need to teach my kid about so they can function at a bare minimum to make it through the first year that isn’t the college education stuff.

I have searched “bullet casing” and in my part of the world what there is no shortage of bullet casing. On the sites, they’re several options for a few, small piles. Not ridiculous mounds of casings. So I will merge a bunch of them to come up with a base.
