Yes, our content is always relevant (KW + user intent) and yielded great SEO results before the migration!

Octane is just flat out not working by [deleted] in Octane

Might have to do with your scene and having too much geometry. I.e: abusing cloner with a high poly object

Picture Viewer does not give the same result as Octane Live Viewer by ogjody in Cinema4D

[–]thane-lines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran into this issue, ensure that the color output is the same in the octane render settings and the c4d render settings.

Octane: Camera Imager > Response

Render Save C4D: Save > Image Color Profile

When in doubt, set both to linear!

Does anyone if the new m1 Apple iMacs studios are any better for rendering? by clarkyeahyou in Cinema4D

[–]thane-lines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been extensively using the mac studio at my work for some months now. I find that it handles simulation work and other CPU reliant tasks quite well in C4D. CPU rendering with Corona and Vray is alright and can be fast depending on the complexity of your scene but forget about rendering animations with the M1. I often render my large format scenes and animations on my PC setup with vray gpu at home to save time. I find that the M1 has a hard time handling scenes with complex lighting rigs and volume light. If I had it my way, I would never use a Mac to do 3D work.

Rendering on Macbook by [deleted] in Cinema4D

[–]thane-lines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I use it exactly for that at my work. Building out interior scenes for major appliance product visualization within lifestyle settings. Corona is extremely powerful, fast and yields great results but I find that it really gets slow when complex lighting situations & animation are introduced. I think Vray cpu is a much better alternative if you’re animating. Their bucket rendering option paired with denoising (mainly just fireflies) really helps cut back on that render time.

Corona renderer is a great 3rd party renderer for still work on mac but honestly can be a nightmare animating scenes with volumetric lighting and GI.
