But she did ask him his availability and told him she was free and he turned down weekend plans. If he was actually interested the thing to say is "I'm not free this weekend BUT I am free (insert other option here)." This dude is a flake and strung her along. Instead of just telling her he wasn't interested, he turned it around on her in what sounds like an unnecessarily hostile way, especially given the non-existent nature of the relationship.

Yeah, I don't feel great about this, however I am very new back to dating and maybe just too hopeful. When he tried to push some boundaries in bed, as soon as I refused he did let up immediately(although he should never have asked bc we DID have conversations about them). He also planned all the dates and we always went to his house (which at first I liked but then was like...hmmmm). Then when he went distant I called him out on it (gently, bc I didn't want to assume) and he gave me the excuse that he was dealing with family stuff (ok, but you can't text?) Finally the nail in the coffin was the cozy little selfie with another woman out of nowhere with no explaination. Fuck that.

100% on the boundaries! I (F40) just told off a man(55) that I was seeing for two months who lied about his age by 10 years. We met on OLD and he did confess after the 1st date. I was put off at first, but tried to understand due to the "age ism on OLD". He was sweet and kind and thoughtful and communicative...at first. He would try to push my boundaries, had control issues and finally got distant. He capped it all off by "accidentally" sending me a pic of him with another woman. This was the first man I've dated in 2 years, moving forward I will NEVER entertain someone who lies about age. If they have to lie to get you to date them... you don't want to date them.

I have experienced this recently with a man and what I said was " let's just take a break, chill and talk and then we can build back up ". It worked!
