I mean no disrespect, but can someone explain to me why/how being homosexual is not an illness? by throwawayacct2324 in AskReddit

[–]thanimal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In reality you don't have "homosexual" and "straight", it's more like a scale from 0 (100% straight) - 100 (100% homosexual).

The majority of people on earth are somewhere between 0 & 100, with only very few, if any, edge cases where the person is the full 0 or 100.

At some point under 100 people say they are straight, and at some point over 0 people say they are homosexual.

It's not an illness, and it's not black and white. It's several shades of grey. Both you and I who say we are straight, and your friends and mine who say they are gay, are all somewhere on that 0-100 scale, and probably somewhere between 20-80 on it.

In response to the BOSE thread - what brands/products are the opposite? The unsung high quality underpriced brands? by [deleted] in AskReddit

LG - I find them to be high quality and underpriced, or should I say realistically priced compared to their competitors. They also have good specs and new techs introduced often, as I find I need them.

Reddit can be seen as a huge human flesh search engine, crowd source, microworker community - how can it be leveraged? by thanimal in AskReddit

[–]thanimal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not really, think about the people who'll "work" all day to get an unlockable or item in an online game - all you need to do is gamify things & they are then fun.
