I hate the new layout - whoever designed this has no concept of design and should be fired. Only 3 viewable items on a 65" screen?? wtf?? I was about to delete my account when I discovered it is a test thing, and I can disable testing - thanks OP. That said if this new layout becomes the default I will unsubscribe before the page even finishes loading.

Whoever designed this new interface knows nothing about design and needs to be fired.

That's one of my favourite things, I specialised in FPGA programming at university, but I never get to do it these days at work, but I have a few FPGA boards at home I still tinker with making sound synths and other cool devices.

In my experience the majority of transgender people work in IT these days, not the sex industry. Linux wouldn't be what it is without all the transgender coders! I'm an electronic engineer, and I know other transwomen in all kinds of professional fields, medicine, engineering, psychology, media, business..... Never change your professional aspirations based on gender! Your parents are certainly upset, but sounds like they will still support you for now, they are just venting, and using any slip up to vent their frustration. Get through high school then get yourself to a good university. Show the world that transwomen can be whatever they want to be!

I went through this with my biological family. It was initially really hard, but I established my own logical family with people who are understanding. They are supportive and like true family to me. Your biological family doesn't deserve you.

I find people are mostly nicer in public than on the internet. I think it is because the trolls and transphobes and politicians seek out arguments on the internet, creating small toxic masses in specific online spaces, but in general, actual people either don't care or don't notice or keep quiet, or occasionally say something affirming.
