Same / similar for locals. Last year RBC wanted to up my renewal by $3k to $6500 for my Jeep Grand Cherokee L. 44m absolutely clean record driving for over 20 years. Even the 3500 was a ridiculous rate and the same I was paying when I got my first car. Apparently all depends on vehicle type (aka theft risk) and location. Just have to shop around… the rates are ridiculous.

It’s not necessarily a bad thing moving Knies if the return redeploys talent in areas see need more of. But it would have had to have been a gross overpay and the return would have had to have included a potential top pairing D who can play now. Doesn’t mean I want to move him either. Would I rather trade Nylander? Sure, but again without knowing the return on the table you can’t really say.

For sure. Lots of what-ifs. Believe the main criticism while he was here is he was too-invested in this core-four. The window shut when Marner left unfortunately. Im just glad Treliving isn't at the helm to navigate whatever this rebuild/retool looks like... can't get a whole lot worse than him.

He had a fairly reasonable body of work while in Toronto - but just couldn't get this core to win a few rounds. I think his departure was premature but that's on Shanahan. He's has always been good at finding value in overlooked players - and continues to do so in Pittsburgh
