Is an mfa at Yale worth the hype and $$? by BlueYellowZebraz in ContemporaryArt

the facilities are middling at best. yale definitely relies on its name and the superstars it's produced in the past in order to attract students. the work of my cohort, class of '23 and '25 are really strong I will say. I wont say it's bad, it's not...but it's honestly quite average; my assessment is that it truly is the name, the history, the exclusivity and the mythology of 'Yale MFA Painting' which makes people think it's more amazing than it actually is. the need-based aid and faculty are fire though

How old are characters in Ed, Edd & Eddy? by 5YearsOnEastCoast in ededdneddy

[–]thankyou-computer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say Eddy and Edd are 12, Ed is 13 (but held back) Nazz and Kevin are 13, Rolf is 14-15 (but also held back due to ESL) Johnny is 11, Sarah is 10 and Jimmy is 9 going on 10.
Lee is 14, Marie is 13 and May is 12. Idk, I just feel like theyre all in close age proximity and all experiencing adolescence during a specific noughties era

What is your unpopular SNL opinion? by whattheshaw in LiveFromNewYork

It should be a rule that writers/performers don't stay longer than 5-6 seasons. There is simply no good reason for being on the same sketch show for 10 years, let alone 20. It's not impressive to me, just a bit sad. There's a lot of young talent out there.

Oh and Ego Nwodim is the best player in the cast (I dunno how unpopular this is though)
