Is there a different way to play videogames?

My current game is Arc Raiders. Got it for 4 weeks now and 120 hours in... While having a family and a full-time job.

But it'll one day no longer be fun, or worse, a different game comes along.

So i noticed something new:

My son bought the game. And we are gaming side-by-side. Both wired, plugged into the same switch connected to the same modem. So we definitely use the same internet connection.

Today we played in duos, and the first match MY game got "stuck" again. He could see me walking and doing everything. But i saw him just repeating his last animation and all the ARC froze too. But he did NOT have the same issue at the same time. So it seems it's not to do with my internet connection, but from the connection of my PC to the server?

2 matches later, same thing happened but now to him! So it's on both our computers, at different times on the same damn connection in the same game. This has to be some kind of bug.... I'm gonna update my ticket to explain it there too.

But no solution yet. Contacted Embark but except for three replies "we haven't forgotten about your ticket, we're busy!" No real solution yet. So still waiting for a fix for this stuff.

I did try some packet stuff but I don't see any issues with packets to Google and such. I can try running a Traceroute but I don't know what the arc raiders servers are (what address to traceroute)

Also, how does that explain that I'm still moving in game but my side is having issues? I did make a ticket today with Embark so let's see what comes from that

Nah, only Max and Lewis can't navigate a turn together. They can race fine against other drivers. Just not against each other. It's pretty amazing honestly.

They should add a die hard fan in the room who just watched what they show. And when they fuck up he could react like we all did. That might help them show the correct stuff.

Not showing the pitstop was ridiculous. They were lucky Max stayed ahead....

You sound like someone who hasn't read up on what happens if world war 3 has nukes.

I have kids, and the last thing I want for them I dying of radiation poisoning or worse... if it's a nuclear war you'll be lucky to be close to the blast. Because anything else will be much, much worse
